install the battery
charge the battery
New batteries are shipped partially charged.
Before you can use your phone, you need to
install and charge the battery as described
below. Some batteries perform best after
several full charge/discharge cycles.
Note:
When the battery is charging, the
phone automatically changes to the audible
Master Volume
setting, regardless of which
ringstyle you have set. The phone changes
back to your selected ringstyle when you
disconnect the charger.
To charge using the charger:

Insert the charger
into the USB
connector on
your phone as
shown.

Plug the other
end of the charger into the appropriate
electrical outlet.
The battery indicator

flashes while
your phone is charging.
