Press the up or down
volume keys to:
• increase or decrease earpiece volume
during a call
• increase or decrease ringer volume
setting when the home screen is
visible (phone must not be in a call)
• silence an incoming call alert (by
pressing the down volume key)
handsfree speaker
You can use your phone’s handsfree speaker
to make calls without holding the phone to
your ear.
During a call, press the smart/speakerphone
key to turn on the handsfree speaker. You will
see
Spkrphone On until you turn it off or end the
call.
Note: The handsfree speaker won’t work
when your phone is connected to a handsfree
car kit or headset.

password
Your phone’s four-digit unlock code is
originally set to 1234
or to the last four digits
of your phone number. The six-digit security
code is originally set to 000000. Your service
provider may reset these codes before you
receive your phone.
If your service provider has
not reset these
codes, we recommend that you change them
to prevent others from accessing your
personal information. The unlock code must
