This example shows an entry screen for creating a
text message:
select entry mode
Multiple entry modes make it easy for you to enter
names, numbers, and messages. The default mode is
Abc (tap mode, first character of a sentence in
uppercase).
To select an entry mode from the CREATE TXT MESSAGE
screen , press the left soft key (-) ( Abc ), then select an
entry mode.
To select an entry mode from the CONTACT LIST screen ,
press the left soft key (-) (
Edit ), and then press the left
soft key (-) (
Abc ).
When your cursor is in a text field, you can select one
of these entry modes:
Abc
Options
OK
Press the
right soft
key (+)
to view
Options
sub-menu.
Press the center select
key (s) to send message.
Press the left soft
key (-) to text
entry modes.
Cursor indicates
insertion point.
