Handling Precautions The MOTOTRBO Series Digital Portable radio meets IP57 specifications, allowing the radio to withstand adverse field conditions such as being submersed in water. • If the radio has been submersed in water, shake the radio well to remove any water that may be trapped inside the speaker grille and microphone port. Trapped water could cause decreased audio performance.

Attaching the Battery Attaching the Antenna Align the battery with the rails on the back of the radio. Press the battery firmly, and slide upward until the latch snaps into place. Slide battery latch into lock position. To Lock To remove the antenna, turn the antenna counterclockwise. To Unlock Preparing Your Radio for Use With the radio turned off, set the antenna in its receptacle and turn clockwise. Do not replace batttery in gas and dust environments. Replace battery only in non-hazardous areas.
Attaching the Belt Clip Preparing Your Radio for Use Align the grooves on the clip with those on the battery and press downward until you hear a click. To remove the clip, press the belt clip tab away from the battery using a key. Then slide the clip upward and away from the radio. 4 English Attaching the Universal Connector Cover (Dust Cover) The universal connector is located on the antenna side of the radio. It is used to connect MOTOTRBO accessories to the radio.
Powering Up the Radio On/Off/Volume Control Knob A brief tone sounds, indicating that the power up test is successful. NOTE: There is no power LED up tone if the radio tones/alerts function is disabled (see Turning Radio Tones/Alerts On or Off on page 38). If your radio does not power up, check your battery. Make sure that it is charged and properly attached. If your radio still does not power up, contact your dealer. To increase the volume, turn the On/Off/Volume Control Knob clockwise.

Repeater/Talkaround*‡ – Toggles between using a repeater and communicating directly with another radio. All Tones/Alerts – Toggles all tones and alerts on or off. Scan*‡ – Toggles scan on or off. Site Info* – Plays site announcement voice messages for the current site (this function is unavailable when Voice Announcement is disabled). Site Lock On/Off* – Toggles the automatic site roam on or Identifying Radio Controls off. Telemetry Control Squelch normal.

IP Site Connect This feature allows your radio to extend conventional communication beyond the reach of a single site, by connecting to different available sites which are connected via an Internet Protocol (IP) network. Identifying Radio Controls When the radio moves out of range from one site and into the range of another, it connects to the new site's repeater to send or receive calls/data transmissions. Depending on your settings, this is done automatically or manually.
Linked Capacity Plus Linked Capacity Plus allows your radio to extend trunking communication beyond the reach of a single site, by connecting to different available sites which are connected via an Internet Protocol (IP) network. It also provides an increase in capacity by efficiently utilizing the combined available number of programmed channels supported by each of the available sites.

Continuous Tone A monotone sound. Sounds continuously until termination. Periodic Tone Repetitive Tone Sounds periodically depending on the duration set by the radio. Tone starts, stops, and repeats itself. A single tone that repeats itself until it is terminated by the user.

Making a Phone Call This feature allows you to transmit to all users on the channel. Your radio must be programmed to allow you to use this feature. Procedure: NOTE: When you attempt to make or end a Phone Call without the access and deaccess codes preconfigured, the attempt fails and a negative indicator tone sounds. 1 Select the channel with the active group alias or ID. See Procedure: Selecting a Channel on page 14. 2 Hold the radio vertically 1 to 2 inches (2.5 to 5.0 cm) from your mouth.
5 If successful: A tone sounds and your radio exits the Phone Call. OR If unsuccessful: A negative indicator tone sounds and your radio returns to the Phone Call. Repeat Step 4 or wait for the telephone user to end the call. Receiving and Making Calls For a Phone Call, you hear a short tone when making the call fails. Stopping a Radio Call This feature allows you to stop an ongoing Group or Private Call to free the channel for transmission.
Monitoring Features Permanent Monitor Use the Permanent Monitor feature to continuously monitor a selected channel for activity. Use the Monitor feature to make sure a channel is free before transmitting. NOTE: This feature is not applicable in Capacity Plus and Linked Capacity Plus. NOTE: This feature is not applicable in Capacity Plus and Linked Capacity Plus. Procedure: 1 Press the programmed Permanent Monitor button. Procedure: 2 Radio sounds alert tone, and the LED lights up solid yellow.

Scan The LED blinks yellow. During a dual mode scan, if you are on a digital channel, and your radio locks onto an analog channel, it automatically switches from digital mode to analog mode for the duration of the call. This is also true for the reverse. There are two types of scans: • Main Channel Scan (Manual): Your radio scans all the channels/groups in your scan list.
2 Press the PTT button during hang time. The LED lights up solid green. 3 Wait for the Talk Permit Tone to finish (if enabled) and speak clearly into the microphone. OR Wait for the PTT Sidetone to finish (if enabled) and speak clearly into the microphone. 4 Release the PTT button to listen. 5 If you do not respond within the hang time, the radio returns to scanning other channels/groups.
Call Indicator Settings Escalating Alarm Tone Volume Your radio can be programmed by your dealer to continually alert you when a radio call remains unanswered. This is done by automatically increasing the alarm tone volume over time. This feature is known as Escalert. Call Alert Operation Button Procedure: 1 Press the programmed One Touch Access button to make a Call Alert to the predefined ID. 2 The LED lights up solid green when your radio is sending the Call Alert.
Emergency Operation An Emergency Alarm is used to indicate a critical situation. You are able to initiate an Emergency at any time, in any state, even when there is activity on the current channel. Your dealer can set the duration of a button press for the programmed Emergency button, except for long press, which is similar with all other buttons: • Short press – Between 0.05 seconds and 0.75 seconds Advanced Features • Long press – Between 1.00 second and 3.
Sending an Emergency Alarm with Call This feature allows you to send an Emergency Alarm, a nonvoice signal, which triggers an alert indication on a group of radios. This feature allows you to send an Emergency Alarm to a group of radios. Upon acknowledgement by a radio within the group, the group of radios can communicate over a programmed Emergency channel. Procedure: 1 Press the programmed Emergency On button. 2 The LED lights up solid green.
8 When the channel is free for you to respond, a short alert tone sounds ( if the Channel Free Indication feature is enabled). Press the PTT button to respond. OR Once your call ends, press Emergency Off button to exit the Emergency mode. Advanced Features If your radio is set to Silent, it does not display any audio or visual indicators during Emergency mode, or allow any received calls to sound through the radio’s speaker, until you press the PTT button to initiate the call.
3 Once a tone sounds, speak clearly into the microphone. 4 The radio automatically stops transmitting when: Once the cycling duration between hot mic and receiving calls expires, if Emergency Cycle Mode is enabled. OR Once the hot mic duration expires, if Emergency Cycle Mode is disabled. 5 To transmit again, press the PTT button. OR Press the programmed Emergency Off button to exit the Emergency mode. 6 Press Emergency Off button to exit the Emergency mode.
Exiting an Emergency Mode NOTE: This feature is only applicable to the radio sending the Emergency Alarm.
Privacy Your radio must have privacy enabled on the channel to send a privacy-enabled transmission, although this is not a necessary requirement for receiving a transmission. While on a privacyenabled channel, the radio is still able to receive clear (unscrambled) transmissions. Your radio supports two types of privacy: NOTE: Some radio models may not offer this Privacy feature. Check with your dealer or system administrator for more information.
Multi-Site Controls Stopping an Automatic Site Search When the radio is actively searching for a new site: Advanced Features These features are applicable when your current radio channel is part of an IP Site Connect or Linked Capacity Plus configuration. 34 Procedure: 1 Press the programmed Site Lock On/Off button. NOTE: See IP Site Connect on page 10 and Linked Capacity Plus on page 11 for more details about these configurations. 2 A tone sounds and the LED turns off.
Lone Worker Following no user activity for a programmed duration, the radio pre-warns the user via an audio indicator once the inactivity timer expires. If enabled, this feature allows you to access your radio via password upon powering up. Use the Channel Selector Knob and the three Side Buttons to enter password (see Radio Controls of page 6): • Channel Selector Knob positions 1 to 9 represent digits 1 to 9, and position 10 represents digit 0.
4 When the last digit of the four-digit password is entered, your radio automatically checks the validity of the password. If the password is correct: Your radio proceeds to power up. See Powering Up the Radio on page 5. OR If the password is incorrect: You hear a continuous tone. Repeat Steps 1 to 3. OR After the third incorrect password, your radio enters into locked state. A tone sounds and the LED double blinks yellow.
Over-the-Air Programming (OTAP) Procedure: 1 Press the programmed Squelch button. While undergoing OTAP, the LED blinks green. 2 You hear a positive indicator tone, indicating the radio is operating in tight squelch. OR You hear a negative indicator tone, indicating the radio is operating in normal squelch. NOTE: When the radio is receiving high volume data, the channel is busy. A PTT button press at this time causes a negative tone to sound.
Turning the Option Board Feature(s) On or Off A channel can support up to 6 option board features. Refer to your dealer or system administrator for more information. Procedure: Press the programmed Option Board Feature button to toggle the feature on or off. Turning the Voice Operating Transmission (VOX) Feature On or Off Advanced Features This feature allows you to initiate a hands-free voice activated call on a programmed channel.
Intelligent Audio You can check how much battery power you have left. Your radio automatically adjusts its audio volume to overcome current background noise in the environment, inclusive of both stationary and non-stationary noise sources. This feature is a Receive-only feature and does not affect Transmit audio. Settings: The LED Indicator in solid yellow indicates fair battery charge while solid green indicates full charge of the battery. See also LED Indicator on page 12.
The Capacity Warranty Batteries and Chargers Warranty The capacity warranty guarantees 80% of the rated capacity for the warranty duration. The Workmanship Warranty The workmanship warranty guarantees against defects in Batteries and Chargers Warranty workmanship under normal use and service.

Anbringen des Akkus Anbringen der Antenne Schalten Sie das Funkgerät aus, stecken Sie die Antenne in die Fassung, und drehen Sie sie im Uhrzeigersinn. Richten Sie den Akku auf die Führung an der Rückseite des Funkgeräts aus. Setzen Sie den Akku fest auf, und schieben Sie ihn aufwärts, bis die Verriegelung einrastet. Einschalten des Funkgeräts Sie hören einen kurzen Ton, der anzeigt, dass der Einschalttest erfolgreich durchgeführt wurde. Linked Capacity Plus Mithilfe von Linked Capacity Plus kann das Funkgerät über ein IP-Netz (Internetprotokoll) Verbindung mit verschiedenen verfügbaren Stationen aufnehmen und somit seinen Bündelfunk-Kommunikationsbereich über die Reichweite einer einzelnen Station hinaus ausdehnen. Indem es die insgesamt verfügbare Zahl programmierter Kanäle, die von jeder der verfügbaren Stationen unterstützt werden, effizient nutzt, steigert Linked Capacity Plus auch die Kapazität.

In Capacity Plus und Linked Capacity Plus zeigt die LED nicht an, wenn das Funkgerät Funkaktivität erfasst. Scannen Wenn Sie einen Scan starten, durchsucht das Funkgerät die vorprogrammierte Scan-Liste des aktuellen Kanals auf Sprachaktivität. Die LED blinkt gelb. Während eines Dual-Scans schaltet das Funkgerät, wenn Sie sich z. B. auf einem digitalen Kanal befinden, automatisch auf einen analogen Kanal, wenn es dort Sprachaktivität erfasst, und bleibt für die Dauer des Rufs auf dem Kanal. Umgekehrt gilt dasselbe. Starten und Stoppen von Scan Vorgehensweise: 1. Drücken Sie die programmierte Scan-Taste.
2. Drücken Sie während der Haltezeit die Sendetaste (PTT). Die grüne LED leuchtet. aktiviert), und sprechen Sie deutlich in das Mikrofon. Notrufbetrieb • Notrufalarm mit anschließender Sprache Darüber hinaus verfügt jeder Alarm über die folgenden Typen: Ihr Händler kann festlegen, wie lange die vorprogrammierte Notruftaste gedrückt werden muss, allerdings ist die Dauer für das lange Drücken die gleiche wie bei allen anderen Tasten: • Stumm – Das Funkgerät überträgt ein Alarmzeichen und gibt • Normal – Das Funkgerät überträgt ein Alarmzeichen und gibt Audio- und/oder optische Signale aus.

Mithilfe dieser Funktion können Sie einen Notrufalarm an eine Gruppe von Funkgeräten senden. Nach erfolgter Quittung durch ein Funkgerät in der Gruppe können die Funkgeräte der Gruppe auf einem vorprogrammierten Notrufkanal miteinander kommunizieren. Vorgehensweise: 1.

Beenden Notrufmodus Das Funkgerät verlässt den Notruf-Modus, wenn eine der folgenden Bedingungen gegeben ist: • Es wird eine Notrufalarmquittung empfangen (gilt nur für Notrufalarm) ODER • Es wird ein Notrufausschalttelegramm empfangen ODER • Alle Versuche, den Alarm zu senden, wurden bereits unternommen ODER • Die Notrufausschalttaste wird gedrückt, ODER • Schalten Sie das Funkgerät aus und anschließend wieder ein, falls Ihr Funkgerät dazu programmiert wurde, auch nach Empfang einer Bestätigung auf
Verschlüsselt Durch Einsatz Software-gestützter Verschlüsselung verhindert diese Funktion, wenn aktiviert, unbefugtes Zuhören auf einem Kanal. Die Signal- und Benutzer-ID-Anteile einer Übertragung werden nicht verschlüsselt. Um verschlüsselt senden zu können, muss die Verschlüsselung für den Kanal aktiviert sein, während dies für empfangende Funkgeräte nicht erforderlich ist. Kanäle mit aktivierter Verschlüsselung können weiterhin normale (unverschlüsselte) Übertragungen empfangen.
Multi-Site-Bedienelemente HINWEIS: Weitere Einzelheiten über diese Konfigurationen finden Sie unter IP-Site-Verbindung auf Seite 10 bzw. unter Linked Capacity Plus auf Seite 11. Erweiterte Funktionen Diese Funktionen sind anwendbar, wenn Ihr aktueller Funkkanal Teil einer IP-Site-Verbindungs- oder Linked Capacity Plus-Konfiguration ist.
Alleinarbeiterschutz Der Alleinarbeiterschutz löst einen Notruf aus, wenn eine vordefinierte Zeit lang keine Benutzeraktivität erfasst wird, d. h. beispielsweise keine Taste am Funkgerät gedrückt oder der Kanalwahlschalter nicht betätigt wird. Wurde während der einprogrammierten Dauer keine Benutzeraktivität erfasst, warnt das Funkgerät den Benutzer durch ein akustisches Signal vor, sobald der Inaktivitäts-Timer abgelaufen ist.
3. Drücken Sie die Seitentaste 1, 2 oder 3 zur Eingabe der 4. Nachdem die letzte Ziffer des vierstelligen Passworts eingegeben wurde, überprüft Ihr Funkgerät automatisch die Gültigkeit des Passworts. Auto-Range Transponder-System (ARTS). ARTS ist eine rein analoge Funktion, die dazu dient, Sie zu informieren, wenn sich Ihr Funkgerät außerhalb der Reichweite anderer mit ARTS ausgestatteter Funkgeräte befindet. Mit ARTS ausgestattete Funkgeräte senden oder empfangen in regelmäßigen Abständen Signale, um zu bestätigen, dass sich die Geräte innerhalb der Funkreichweite der anderen befinden. Ihr Fachhändler kann Ihr Funkgerät dazu programmieren, ARTS-Signale zu senden oder zu empfangen.
Nützliche Funktionen/Dienstprogramme Der Rauschsperrenpegel des Funkgeräts kann so eingestellt werden, dass unerwünschte Rufe mit niedriger Signalstärke oder Kanäle mit ungewöhnlich intensiven Hintergrundgeräuschen unterdrückt werden. Einstellungen: Die Standardeinstellung lautet Normal. Die Einstellung Hoch wird verwendet, um (unerwünschte) Rufe und/oder störendes Hintergrundrauschen auszufiltern. Dabei kann es jedoch sein, dass auch Rufe von weiter entfernten Standorten ausgefiltert werden.
Ein- oder Ausschalten der VOX-Funktion (sprachgesteuerte Übertragung) Mithilfe dieser Funktion können Sie einen Ruf auf einem programmierten Kanal im Freisprechbetrieb einleiten. Während eines programmierten Zeitraums überträgt das Funkgerät automatisch, sobald das Mikrofon des VOX-fähigen Zubehörs eine gesprochene Mitteilung erfasst. Durch Drücken der Sendetaste (PTT) während des Funkgerätbetriebs wird VOX deaktiviert.
GPS Diese Funktion aktiviert die Sprachansage des Funkgeräts, so dass es die aktuelle Zone bzw. den aktuellen Kanal, die/der vom Benutzer gerade zugewiesen wurde, oder das Drücken einer programmierbaren Taste akustisch angibt. Diese Funktion kann bedarfsspezifisch eingestellt werden. Die Sprachansage ist besonders nützlich, wenn der Benutzer Schwierigkeiten hat, die Anzeige im Display zu lesen.
Die Akkukapazitätsgarantie Garantie für Akkus und Ladegeräte Die Akkukapazitätsgarantie gewährleistet 80 % der Nennkapazität für die Laufzeit der Garantie. Produktgarantie Garantie für Akkus und Ladegeräte Die Produktgarantie stellt eine Garantie gegen verarbeitungsbedingte Defekte bei normaler Nutzung und normalem Betrieb dar.

Installer la batterie Installation de l’antenne La radio étant éteinte, placez l’antenne dans son orifice et vissez dans le sens horaire. Alignez la batterie sur les rainures situées au dos de la radio. Appuyez avec fermeté sur la batterie et faites-la glisser vers le haut jusqu’à ce que le verrou s’enclenche. Mettez le verrou de la batterie en position fermée. Pour verrouiller Pour retirer l’antenne, tournez-la dans le sens anti-horaire.
Fixation de la pince de ceinture Préparation de votre radio Alignez les rainures de la pince à celles de la batterie et appuyez vers le bas jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un clic. Pour retirer le clip, écartez la languette de la pince de ceinture de la batterie à l’aide une clé. Procédure à suivre : 1 Sélectionnez le canal correspondant à l’identité ou à la désignation de groupe actif. Voir Sélection d’un canal à la page 14. OU Appuyez sur le bouton Accès direct programmé. 2 Tenez la radio en position verticale à une distance comprise entre 2,5 et 5 cm de votre bouche.
Votre fournisseur ne peut programmer qu’un seul de ces deux types d’appel sur votre radio. Passer et recevoir des appels Vous entendrez une tonalité d’indication négative lorsque vous lancez un appel individuel à partir du bouton Accès direct ou le sélecteur de canaux, si cette caractéristique n’est pas activée. Pour contacter une radio individuelle, vous pouvez envoyer un message texte ou un avertissement d’appel.
5 Relâchez le bouton PTT pour écouter. Lorsque la radio cible répond, le témoin clignote en vert. entendrez une brève tonalité d’avertissement lorsque le bouton PTT de la radio émettrice est relâché. Cette tonalité confirme que le canal est libre et que vous pouvez répondre. Relâchez le bouton PTT pour répondre. OU En l’absence d’activité vocale pendant une durée prédéterminée, la communication est automatiquement annulée. 7 Vous entendez une tonalité courte.
3 Appuyez sur le bouton PTT pour parler et relâchez-le pour écouter. 4 Appuyez sur le bouton Quitter téléphone programmé pour mettre fin à l’appel. Une tonalité DTMF retentit. Passer et recevoir des appels 5 Si l’opération réussit : Une tonalité retentit et votre radio quitte l’appel téléphonique. OU Si l’opération ne réussit pas : Une tonalité négative retentit et votre radio revient à l’appel téléphonique. Répétez l’étape 4 ou attendez que l’utilisateur du téléphone mette fin à l’appel.

Balayage Le témoin clignote en jaune. Procédure à suivre : 1 Appuyez sur le bouton préprogrammé Balayage. OU Utilisez le sélecteur de canal pour sélectionner un canal avec Balayage automatique activé. Pendant un balayage en mode double (analogique et numérique), si vous êtes en train de communiquer sur un canal numérique, et que votre radio détecte et s’arrête sur un canal analogique, elle passe automatiquement du mode numérique au mode analogique pendant la durée de l’appel.
2 Appuyez sur le bouton PTT pendant le délai de maintien. Le témoin est vert fixe. 3 Attendez la tonalité Parler autorisé (si cette option est activée) et parlez distinctement dans le microphone. OU Attendez l’extinction de la tonalité locale PTT (si cette option est activée) et parlez distinctement dans le microphone. Fonctionnalités avancées 4 Relâchez le bouton PTT pour écouter. 5 Si vous ne répondez pas pendant la durée de maintien, le balayage se poursuit sur d’autres canaux/groupes.
Paramètres des indicateurs d’appel Pour recevoir et répondre à un avertissement d’appel Procédure à suivre : Lorsque vous recevez une notification d’avertissement d’appel : 1 Vous entendez une tonalité répétitive. Le témoin clignote en Volume croissant de la tonalité des alarmes jaune. Votre radio peut être programmée par votre revendeur pour vous avertir en permanence lorsqu’un appel radio reste sans réponse.
Gestion de l’urgence Une alarme d’urgence sert à signaler une situation critique. Vous pouvez exécuter une urgence à tout moment, dans n’importe quel état, même en cas d’activité sur le canal actuel.
Envoi d’une alerte d’urgence Procédure à suivre : 1 Appuyez sur le bouton préprogrammé Urgence activée. 2 Le témoin est vert fixe. 3 Si un accusé de réception d’alerte d’urgence arrive, la tonalité d’urgence retentit. Le voyant clignote en vert. OU Si votre radio ne reçoit pas d’accusé de réception d’alerte d’urgence, et après que toutes les tentatives ont été utilisées, une tonalité grave retentit. 4 La radio quitte le mode d’alerte d’urgence.
8 Lorsque le canal est libre, une tonalité d’avertissement Fonctionnalités avancées courte retentit ( si la Tonalité Indication Canal libre a été activée). Relâchez le bouton PTT pour répondre. OU Lorsque l’appel est terminé, appuyez sur le bouton préprogrammé Urgence désactivée pour quitter le mode Urgence.
Procédure à suivre : 1 Appuyez sur le bouton préprogrammé Urgence activée. 3 Une fois qu’une tonalité retentit, parlez clairement dans le micro. Lorsque le « micro ouvert » est activé, la radio émet automatiquement sans que l’utilisateur n’ait besoin de toucher le bouton PTT jusqu’à la fin de la période « micro ouvert ». Lors de la transmission, le voyant passe au vert fixe.
Quitter le mode Urgence REMARQUE : Cette caractéristique est uniquement applicable à la radio qui envoie l’Alarme d’urgence.
Secret La fonction Secret doit être activée sur le canal pour que la radio puisse émettre en utilisant le cryptage, mais cela n’est pas nécessaire pour recevoir une communication. Lorsque la radio est sur un canal programmé pour utiliser la fonction Secret, elle peut recevoir des émissions en clair, comme à l’accoutumée. Il existe deux types de fonctions Secret : • Secret base • Cryptage avancé REMARQUE : La fonction Secret n’est pas disponible sur certains modèles.
Commandes multi-sites Ces caractéristiques sont applicables lorsque le canal actuel de votre radio fait partie d’une configuration Connecter Site IP ou Linked Capacity Plus. REMARQUE : Pour plus d’informations sur ces configurations, consultez Connecter Site IP à la page 10 et Linked Capacity Plus à la page 11.
Travailleur isolé Après expiration de ce délai, la radio avertit l’utilisateur en produisant une tonalité d’indication. Si l’utilisateur ne confirme pas qu’il a entendu cette tonalité en appuyant sur l’une des touches avant expiration du délai de rappel, la radio envoie une alarme d’urgence. Lorsqu’elle est activée, cette fonction vous permet d’accéder à votre radio en entrant un mot de passe pendant la mise sous tension.
Fonctionnalités avancées 4 Une fois que le dernier chiffre du mot de passe à quatre chiffres été entré, votre radio vérifie automatiquement la validité du mot de passe. Si le mot de passe est correct : Votre radio s’allume. Voir Allumage de la radio à la page 5. OU Si le mot de passe est incorrect : Vous entendez une tonalité continue. Répétez les étapes 1 à 3. OU Après le troisième mot de passe incorrect, votre radio est verrouillée. Une tonalité retentit et le témoin jaune clignote double.
Votre radio peut être mise à jour à distance par votre revendeur, via OTAP, sans avoir besoin d’être connecté physiquement. En outre, certains paramètres peuvent également être configurés par OTAP. Procédure à suivre : 1 Appuyez sur le bouton préprogrammé Squelch. 2 Vous entendrez une tonalité d’indication positive indiquant que la radio fonctionne en squelch Filtré. OU Vous entendrez une tonalité d’indication négative indiquant que la radio fonctionne en squelch Normal.
Pour activer et désactiver la fonction Carte d’options Chaque canal peut prendre en charge jusqu’à 6 fonctions de carte d’option. Pour obtenir d’autres informations, veuillez consulter votre fournisseur ou votre administrateur système. Audio intelligent Vous pouvez vérifier le niveau de charge de la batterie. Votre radio ajuste automatiquement le volume audio en fonction du bruit de l’environnement, incluant les sources de bruit mobiles et fixes. Inserimento della batteria Non sostituire la batteria in ambienti con presenza di gas e polveri. Sostituire la batteria solo in aree sicure. LED Ricezione e risposta a una chiamata di gruppo Per ricevere una chiamata di un gruppo di utenti, la radio deve essere configurata come appartenente a quel gruppo. Procedura: 1 Il LED lampeggia in verde.

Premere il pulsante PTT per rispondere. OPPURE Se non si verifica alcuna attività vocale per un tempo prestabilito, la chiamata viene terminata. 7 La radio emette un breve tono.
4 Premere il pulsante Uscita telefono programmato per terminare la chiamata. Verrà emesso un tono DTMF. Viene emesso un segnale acustico e la radio termina la chiamata telefonica. OPPURE In caso di esito negativo: Viene emesso un segnale acustico negativo e la radio ritorna alla chiamata telefonica. Ripetere il passaggio 4 o attendere che l'utente del telefono termini la chiamata. Se non è possibile effettuare la chiamata telefonica, la radio emette un breve tono.
Ricezione ed esecuzione delle chiamate Si sente un segnale acustico negativo, che indica che la radio si trova in modalità Ripetitore. L'impostazione Comunicazione diretta viene conservata anche dopo lo spegnimento della radio. Funzionalità di monitoraggio Monitoraggio di un canale Monitor perm. Questa funzionalità consente di monitorare senza interruzioni un canale selezionato per rilevarne un'eventuale attività.
Funzionalità avanzate Le liste di scansione vengono create e assegnate a singoli canali o gruppi. La radio esegue la scansione per rilevare la presenza di traffico voce, controllando sequenzialmente i canali o i gruppi assegnati alla lista di scansione relativa al canale corrente. La radio contiene fino a 250 liste di scansione, con un massimo di 16 membri per lista. Ogni lista di scansione supporta un misto di voci analogiche e digitali.
Scansione Durante la scansione, la radio controlla sequenzialmente la lista di scansione preprogrammata per il canale corrente per rilevare la presenza di traffico voce. Il LED lampeggia in giallo. Funzionalità avanzate Se, durante la scansione in modalità doppia, la radio è sintonizzata su un canale digitale e si sintonizza su un canale analogico, essa passa automaticamente dalla modalità digitale a quella analogica per la durata della chiamata. Lo stesso avviene nel caso opposto.

Invio di un allarme di emergenza Invio di un allarme di emergenza con chiamata Questa funzione consente di inviare un allarme di emergenza, ossia un segnale non vocale, che attiva un indicatore di avviso in un gruppo di radio. Questa funzione consente di inviare un allarme di emergenza ad un gruppo di radio. Alla ricezione della conferma da parte di una radio del gruppo, il gruppo di radio può comunicare sul canale di emergenza programmato. Procedura: 1 Premere il pulsante Emerg. att. programmato.
8 Quando il canale è libero per rispondere, viene emesso un Invio di un allarme di emergenza con successiva trasmissione voce Questa funzione consente di inviare un allarme di emergenza ad un gruppo di radio. Il microfono della radio viene attivato automaticamente, consentendo al gruppo di radio di comunicare senza premere il pulsante PTT.
Procedura: 1 Premere il pulsante Emerg. att. programmato. 2 Il LED diventa verde fisso. 3 Una volta udito il segnale acustico, parlare chiaramente al microfono. Se la funzione Hot Mic è stata abilitata, la radio trasmette automaticamente, senza dover premere il pulsante PTT, fino allo scadere della durata della funzione Hot Mic. Durante la trasmissione, il LED diventa verde fisso.
Uscita dalla modalità di emergenza La radio esce dalla modalità di emergenza quando si verifica uno dei seguenti eventi: • Alla ricezione della conferma dell'allarme di emergenza (solo per la funzione Allarme di emergenza) OPPURE • Viene ricevuto un telegramma di uscita dall'emergenza OPPURE • Quando la radio ha effettuato il numero massimo di tentativi di inviare l'allarme OPPURE • Il pulsante Emerg. disatt.
Privacy Funzionalità avanzate Questa funzione utilizza una tecnica di codifica basata su software. Quando viene attivata, consente di evitare che utenti non autorizzati sintonizzati su un canale possano ascoltare le conversazioni. La codifica non viene però effettuata durante le fasi di segnalazione e identificazione utente di una trasmissione. Per inviare una trasmissione abilitata per la privacy, tale funzione deve essere abilitata sul canale su cui si trasmette.
Controlli multisito Fine della ricerca automatica del sito NOTA: vedere IP Site Connect a pagina 10 e Linked Capacity Plus a pagina 11 per ulteriori informazioni su queste configurazioni. Inizio della ricerca automatica del sito NOTA: la radio esegue la ricerca di un nuovo sito solo se la radio rileva un segnale debole oppure nessun segnale nel sito corrente. Se il valore RSSI è forte, la radio resta connessa al sito corrente.
Lavoro in solitario Questa funzione consente di avviare una trasmissione di emergenza in assenza di attività da parte dell'utente, come ad esempio la pressione di un pulsante o l'attivazione del selettore di canale, entro un periodo di tempo predefinito. Se attivata, questa funzione consente di accedere alla radio tramite la password al momento dell'accensione.
4 Quando viene immessa l'ultima delle quattro cifre della La radio entra in stato di blocco per 15 minuti e risponde alle immissioni effettuate tramite la manopola on/off/controllo volume. NOTA: nello stato di blocco, la radio non può ricevere chiamate, comprese quelle di emergenza. Sblocco della radio Procedura: Aspettare 15 minuti. Programmazione Over-the-Air (OTAP, Over-the-Air Programming) Grazie alla programmazione Over-the-Air, la radio può essere aggiornata in remoto dal rivenditore, senza necessità di una connessione fisica. Con questa funzionalità, è, inoltre, possibile configurare alcune impostazioni. Funzionalità avanzate Quando la programmazione Over-the-Air è in corso, il LED lampeggia in verde.
