Manage windows
To quickly arrange windows for a productive layout, click or icon to snap the window to fill the left or
right half of the mobile desktop. If you don’t see these icons, increase the window size.
When a window is maximized, hover the mouse pointer over the center top of the window to access the
window controls.
On a Windows PC, press Alt-tab to switch between windows.
Manage app shortcuts
Add shortcut to mobile desktop
1. In the mobile desktop taskbar click to list apps on your phone.

Right-click an app icon and select Add shortcut to desktop. Or, drag the icon to the mobile desktop.
To reorder icons by name, right-click the mobile desktop and select Reorder icons.
To remove a shortcut from the mobile desktop, right-click the shortcut and select Delete shortcut.
Pin shortcut to mobile desktop taskbar

Right-click the shortcut on the mobile desktop, then select Pin to taskbar.
2. To unpin, right-click the shortcut in the taskbar, then select Unpin from taskbar.
Manage notifications
To prevent the mobile desktop from showing notifications, click Desktop settings > Advanced, then
turn on Block notifications.
You can always click to view notifications sent to your phone.
Copy files between PC and phone
While your phone is connected to your PC you can copy files and text between them.
Copy files from PC to phone
1. On your Windows PC, right-click the files you want to copy and select Send to > Ready For Assistant.
Or, press Ctrl+C to copy selected files to the clipboard.

In the Ready For desktop taskbar, click then do either:
a. Click Save to save the file to your phone.
b. Click Share to send the file to a nearby Android device. Both devices must have Bluetooth and
location turned on.
Tip: On your Windows PC, use Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V to cut and paste text from your PC to a phone app.
To view files on your phone, use the Files app.
Copy files from phone to PC

Click in the mobile desktop taskbar, then open the Files app.
