Use Mobile desktop
Mobile desktop lets you connect your phone to an external display for easy remote work, gaming,
entertainment, and more.
Use taskbar
Access common tasks from the taskbar at the bottom of the Mobile desktop.
The taskbar is always visible in the Mobile desktop experience. In other experiences, move the pointer to the
bottom edge of the display to open the taskbar.
Open app tray to launch phone apps. Apps that are not compatible with external displays may be
used only on your phone.
Search internet.
View, select, or close apps that are running on the external display.
Go to the Mobile desktop home screen.
Lock the external display and phone screen. To unlock the external display, unlock your phone
screen or use a Bluetooth mouse to enter PIN on external display.
Click icon, then select screen shot type. To capture a rectangle or free-form region when using the
phone as a trackpad, swipe with two fingers to define the region.
Change Mobile desktop settings.
View Wi-Fi signal strength. Click icon to access Wi-Fi settings.
Adjust call volume during calls, or adjust media volume when playing media. Switch audio between
phone and external display.
