PROGRAMMING FEATURES
STATEMENT
When checked, the radio allows all statement events.
Statement is message that contains follow-up
information to a warning, watch, or emergency.
Note: No matter how the user programs the event
filter, some critical events cannot be
blocked. See also: The Critical Events
Table.
EVENT CODE FILTER
A specific SAME event can be allowed or blocked.
There are maximum of five Event Codes can be
programmed.
BLOCK EVENT
When checked, the Event Codes entered below shall
be blocked.
Note: No matter how the user programs the event
filter, some critical events cannot be
blocked. See also: The Critical Events
Table.
EVENT CODE
The Event Code field accepts wild card (“*”). The
following are examples of valid Event Code format.
• “***” - all events
• FL"*” – FLA or FLW
•FLA
The “blank” means unprogrammed and the radio will
bypass it without doing anything.
