LinkedCapacityPlus
LinkedCapacityPlusisamulti-sitemulti-channeltrunking
congurationoftheMOTOTRBOradiosystem,combiningthe
bestofbothCapacityPlusandIPSiteConnectcongurations.
LinkedCapacityPlusallowsyourradiotoextendtrunking
communicationbeyondthereachofasinglesite,byconnecting
todifferentavailablesiteswhichareconnectedviaanInternet
Protocol(IP)network.Italsoprovidesanincreaseincapacity
byefcientlyutilizingthecombinedavailablenumberof
programmedchannelssupportedbyeachoftheavailablesites.
Whentheradiomovesoutofrangefromonesiteandinto
therangeofanother,itconnectstothenewsite'srepeaterto
sendorreceivecalls/datatransmissions.Dependingonyour
settings,thisisdoneautomaticallyormanually.
Iftheradioissettodothisautomatically,itscansthroughall
availablesiteswhenthesignalfromthecurrentsiteisweakor
whentheradioisunabletodetectanysignalfromthecurrent
site.ItthenlocksontotherepeaterwiththestrongestReceived
SignalStrengthIndicator(RSSI)value.
Inamanualsitesearch,theradiosearchesforthenextsitein
theroamlistthatiscurrentlyinrange(butwhichmaynothave
thestrongestsignal)andlocksontoit.
AnychannelwithLinkedCapacityPlusenabledcanbeadded
toaparticularroamlist.Theradiosearchesthesechannels
duringtheautomaticroamoperationtolocatethebestsite.

totheroamlist.Checkwithyourdealeror
