DeletingaNuisanceChannel
Ifachannelcontinuallygeneratesunwantedcallsornoise
(termeda“nuisance”channel),youcantemporarilyremovethe
unwantedchannelfromthescanlist.
Thiscapabilitydoesnotapplytothechanneldesignatedas
theSelectedChannel.
Deletinga“nuisance”channelisonlypossiblethroughthe
programmedNuisanceChannelDeletebutton.Thisfeatureis
notaccessiblethroughthemenu.
1Whenyourradio“locksonto”anunwantedornuisance
channel,presstheprogrammedNuisanceChannelDelete
buttonuntilyouhearatone.
2ReleasetheNuisanceChannelDeletebutton.
Thenuisancechannelisdeleted.
RestoringaNuisanceChannel
Torestorethedeletednuisancechannel,dooneofthefollowing:
•Turntheradiooffandthenpoweritonagain.
•StopandrestartascanviatheprogrammedScanbutton
ormenu.
•Changechannelorzone.
ContactSettings
Contactsprovides“address-book”capabilitiesonyourradio.
EachentrycorrespondstoanaliasorIDthatyouusetoinitiate
acall.
Eachentry,dependingoncontext,associateswithoneofve
typesofcalls:GroupCall,PrivateCall,AllCall,PCCallor
DispatchCall.
