Blades
The 2-line blade is based on Motorola’s SURFboard SBV5222 digital voice
modem, while the 4-line blade is based on Motorola’s SURFboard SBV5322 digi-
tal voice modem.
The 2-port and 4-port blades are also available with a diagnostic port
(optional).
The following illustration provides an overview of the blade components.
In the previous example, the inject/eject handles are in the unlocked posi-
tion. When inserting blades into the chassis, make sure that the handles
are in the unlocked position, and then lock the handles to secure the
blade in the chassis following insertion. For more information, see
“Installing the Blades” on page 29
