Radio-to-Data Device: RS232 Interface Cable (MTM700 only)
The GMKN1016_ RS232 Interface Cable allows to connect Data Devices to the radio. This means
this cable has to be used for when data transmission between the Radio and a Data Device is
required. This cable is mostly used when the transceiver is equipped with a Remote Mount Head or
the Standard Control Head is mounted directly. (Expansion Head Radio has a frontside connector).
The cable has to be connected into the 7-pin Expansion Connector on the rear side of the radio
(located above the 20-pin accessory connector) and into the 9-pin connector of a Data Device (e.g.
PC, Laptop, console etc.).
The GMKN1016_ RS232 Interface Cable is not repairable. Order a replacement cable as necessary.
