Your service provider programs emergency phone numbers, (such as 999), that you can call under any circumstances, even when your phone is locked. Emergency numbers vary by country.

calls video in-call menu During a video call you can access the in-call menu by pressing Options: • Zoom Mode - zoom in/out of video transmission. • Mute Video - turn off/on the outgoing video. • Mute Sound - silence your microphone. • Pause Outg.- pause the outgoing video. • Pause Inc. - pause the incoming video. • Switch Camera - switch between the secondary camera lens (on the front) and the primary camera lens (on the back). • Full/Split Screen - set the screen mode.

To put music on your computer and then load it on your phone, you need: • A Microsoft™ WindowsXP™ or Windows Vista™ PC. • USB data cable (may be sold separately). do I need a memory card? Simple answer, yes. Your phone does have 10 MB of internal memory, but it also supports removable microSD memory cards with up to 4 GB capacity, allowing you to store much more data.
set up music what music file formats can I play? Your phone can play many types of files: MP3, MIDI, WAV, AAC, WMV, WMA, XMF, and AMR. do I need a USB cable? To load music from a computer to your phone, you must use a USB data cable, which may be sold separately from your phone. what headphones can I use? Your phone has a mini USB headset jack for wired stereo listening.
get music load your favourite tunes... get music rip a CD Not literally — if you’re new to music this means transferring music from an audio CD to your PC. To rip an audio CD on your PC, you need Windows Media Player version 11 or later. You can download Windows Media Player from www.microsoft.com. 1 On your computer, launch Windows™ Media Player. 2 Insert an audio CD into your computer’s CD ROM drive.
get music The songs are imported to the Windows Media Player Library. Next, transfer the songs from your computer to your phone. load music Transfer files from a PC to a removable memory card. Note: Your phone does not support DRM protected music files. get music 2 On your phone, press Yes to connect your phone as a storage device. 3 Now that you’ve connected, use Windows Media Player or USB drag & drop to copy your music. Windows Media Player 1 On your Windows PC, open Microsoft Windows Media Player. 2 If you are not prompted to rename your phone, on the Sync tab, select More Options. Under Devices, select “Removable Disk” (memory card) and rename to “VE538 Mobile”.

Your music files are stored in the File Manager on your phone. Press > File Manager > Memory card tab > Sounds.

You can press Quiet > Reject to the call and send the caller to voicemail or Answer the call. Playing resumes when you end the call. To minimise your music player while a song is playing, press Options > Minimize. If the music player is minimised, you can use other phone features. Using applications like games turns the music player off.

Press Options > Send Picture to send the photo in a message. Tip: To view your photo, press > Pictures. > File Manager Note: Before taking your photo, you can press Options to access features, such as Self Timer and Picture Settings.

Note: The use of wireless phones while driving may cause distraction. Discontinue a call if you can’t concentrate on driving. Additionally, the use of wireless devices and their accessories may be prohibited or restricted in certain areas. Always obey the laws and regulations on the use of these products.
Bluetooth® To find the devices within range: 1 2 3 Press Search > All Devices. 4 If necessary, enter the device passcode (such as 0000) and press the OK key. Scroll to the device in the list and press > Trust. If necessary, press the Yes or OK key to connect to the device. Note: If the device does not automatically connect to your phone, press Cancel > Back > Trusted Devices, scroll to the device and press Options > Do not trust. Then repeat Steps 1 to 4 again to connect the device.

USB & memory card connect your phone and PC, then drag & drop. USB & memory card format You need to format a memory card, using the phone, before using it for the first time. This essential procedure creates the Games, Miscellaneous, Pictures, Sounds and Videos folders and ensures your phone can read the contents of the card. Your phone will prompt you if you need to format your memory card. Caution: Formatting the memory card erases all content on the card.

Note: When your phone is plugged into a PC and is being used as a mass storage device, it cannot be used for anything else. To change the PIN codes: Find it: > u Settings > Security > PIN Codes lock & unlock phone You can lock your phone to keep others from using it. To lock/unlock your phone: Find it: > u Settings > Security > This SIM only Enter the phonecode and press OK.
