counting direction
(LOW = increment, HIGH = decrement)
Summing counter, A + B
Differential counter, A B
Quadrature up/down counter A/B with single
edge count (x1)
Quadrature up/down counter A/B with double
edge count (x2)
Quadrature up/down counter A/B with (x4) edge count.
Impulse Scaling Factor:
Example: setting 1.2345 results in display of
12 345 after 10 000 input pulses.

The counting range of the unit is limited from -199999 to 999999.
In case of underflow or overflow the unit will display
The counter stores all counting data also in power-down state
(EEProm with data retention >10 years)
With the summing mode (A+B) and the differential mode (A-B) please note
that the impulse scaling factor will only affect input A
