SETUP FOR A MULTI-SWITCH NETWORK
Use this setup if you want to connect more than
five MOTU interfaces to an extended network that
employs multiple AVB switches. AVB Ethernet is
an industry standard, so you can use MOTU AVB
Switches or 3rd-party AVB switches.
■ You can daisy-chain switches in serial fashion,
but don’t create loops. For example, switches A, B,
and C below are chained properly, but don’t
connect C back to A. Alternately, you could
connect both Switches B and C to Switch A.
