5 2408mk3 Front Panel Operation
OVERVIEW
The 2408mk3 interface has two modes of
operation:
■ PCI mode
■ Stand-alone mode
In PCI mode, the 2408mk3 is under complete
control of the PCI-424 card and any 424-related
software running on your computer. The front
panel LEDs serve entirely as status indicators.
In Stand-alone mode, the 2408mk3 front panel
buttons and LEDs give you control over the
2408mk3’s stand-alone format conversion features.
