Run the software installer before connecting
your MOTU interface to your computer
If you wish to proceed with software installation,
we recommend that you run the software installer
before you connect your MOTU interface to your
computer and power it on. This ensures that all
driver components are properly installed in your
system.
RUN THE MOTU AVB AUDIO INSTALLER
To download the latest MOTU AVB audio installer,
visit www.motu.com/avb. Follow the directions
that the installer gives you.
MOTU AVB DISCOVERY APP
The MOTU AVB Discovery app is installed in your
computer’s applications folder; a shortcut is
installed for it, too (as shown on page page 13). It
locates all MOTU AVB interfaces connected to the
computer, either directly through USB or on your
network, and displays them in a list. Double-click
an interface to access its settings through the web
app (“MOTU AVB Control Web App” on page 13).
AUDIODESK WORKSTATION SOFTWARE
AudioDesk is an advanced workstation software
package that lets you record, edit, mix, process,
bounce and master multi-track digital audio
recording projects. Advanced features include real-
time effects processing, recording, and much
more.
