OMS
The software installation for FastLane (as
described earlier) detects OMS if it is present in
your system and places the MOTU USB OMS
driver in the appropriate place. To activate
FastLane in OMS, follow this simple procedure:

Launch OMS Setup.

If this is the first time you’ve run OMS Setup,
follow the directions it gives you to successfully
create a studio setup.

From the Studio menu, choose MIDI cards &
interfaces .

Click Update Setup.
Yo u’ l l s e e the following dialog.

Click Search .

On a USB Macintosh, you don’t need to
check either of the serial port check boxes in this
window because FastLane is not connected to a
serial port.
FastLane will appear in your Studio Setup window,
as demonstrated below.

If FastLane does not appear, check power
and cables and try again.
