APPLIANCES WITHOUT FITTED PLUG
Fitting the plug - Important
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance
with the following code:-
BLUE - NEUTRAL
BROWN - LIVE
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:-
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected
to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or
coloured BLACK.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be
connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured RED.
If a 13 amp (BS1363) plug is used, a 3 amp fuse must
be fitted, or if any other type of plug is used a 5 amp
fuse must be fitted either in the plug or adaptor or at
the Distribution Board. This appliance is manufactured
to conform to Low Voltage Electrical Equipment
(Safety) Regulations 1989 and is designed to comply
with BS3456. It complies with the requirements of the
EEC Directive (89/336/EEC).
Any error in connecting the appliance invalidates
the guarantee.
Neither wire must be connected to the earth
terminal of a three pin plug.
If the mains lead is damaged, it should be replaced by
a Moulinex approved service agent, as special tools
are required.
How to use your citrus press
- Plug in the appliance.
- Cut a piece of citrus fruit in half (eg. orange, lemon,
grapefruit) and gently press each half onto the
cone.
- The citrus press will start operating automatically by
turning to the right and to the left.
- Be sure to remove the pulp from the filter when the
filter is full as this will enable you to obtain more
juice.
