Troubleshooting
TRACKING
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
ThePIXIOrobotdoesnotstarttrackingwhereas
the watch LED blinks irregularly.
Therobot,thewatch,andthebeaconscannot
starttheirradiocommunicationscorrectly.
Placetherobotandthebeaconsfollowingthe
instructionspage12«Micro-beaconslocation»
andstartagainthesystem.
If the tracking does not start after about 20
seconds, you can help by holding the watch
above your head a few seconds. As soon as
the tracking starts, you can put your hand
down.
ThePIXIOrobotdoesnotstarttrackingwhereas
the watch LED blinks regularly.
Thewatchstartsontheupgrademode.
TurnONthewatchbypressingthebuttonuntil
thegreenlightturnsONthereleasethebutton
immediately.
ThePIXIOrobotdoesnotstarttrackingwhereas
the green and red lights of the robot are
blinkingalternately.
Therobotisaslave(refertopage25).
When OFF, press the ON/OFF button of the
robot during 13 seconds (until the green light
blinksalone).
ThePIXIOrobotdoesnotstarttrackingwhereas
a beacon LED blinks regularly.
Thebeaconstartsontheupgrademode.
Turn ON the beacon by pressing the button
until the green light turns ON the release the
buttonimmediately.
The PIXIO robot rotations are always in the
wrongdirectionofrotation.
Thebeaconsarenotplacedcorrectly.
The beacon n°2 must be on the left of the
beaconn°1,asseenfromtherobot.Followthe
instructionsgivenpage12«Microbeaconsset-
up»andstartagainthesystem.
Sometimes,therobotisshaky,and/ortoolate.
Distances are too long, and/or an external
elementisperturbatingthesystem.
Place the beacons and the robot following
theinstructionsgivenpage12«Micro-beacons
location»andstartagainthesystem.
