ThePIXEMrobotcanalsobeplacedatthemiddleofthe3beacons.
Thepositionsofthebeaconsareveryexible,buttrackingandaccuracyarebetterwith
propercongurations:
•Checkthattherearedirectlinesofsightbetweenthebeacons,andbetweentherobot
andeachbeacon.Oratleastcheckthatanyobstacleissmall.
•Keeptherobot,thebeacons,andthewatchatmorethan20-30cm(10inches)fromthe
wallsorfrommassivemetallicparts.Avoidoperatingnearabigelectricaltransformer,
powerfulantenna,etc.
•Thebestheightforthebeaconsis1to2m(3to6ft)fromtheground.Thethreebeacons
needtobeonthesamelevelandperpendiculartotheground.
• The distance between the beacons, and the distance between the robot and the
beacons,mustbesmallerthan330ft(100m).
