Linkup Delay
Linkup Delay Overview
Linkup delay is used to prevent a port alternating between link up and link down. It is also sometimes called
link flap prevention. This feature is useful when the link connection is unstable. An unstable connection
might be caused by a faulty cable, faulty fiber transceiver, duplex mismatch, etc. This feature helps
administrators to mitigate the risk of an unstable network, particularly when the topology changes
frequently.
Linkup Delay Settings
This section describes how to configure the linkup delay for the ports. Click the Linkup Delay menu. The
default value is disabled, which means linkup delay is disabled for all ports.
