Opening Your Browser
1. Make sure your browser has cookies enabled. To enable cookies in Internet Explorer, right click on the
Internet Explorer icon on your desktop, select Properties, click on the Security tab, and then select Enable
under Allow cookies that are stored on your computer, Allow per-session cookies (not stored), and File
download.
2. Enter the IP address of your device in the address field of the browser, then press the Enter key. The default
IP address is 192.168.127.254.
3. Input the password if prompted. The password will be transmitted with MD5 encryption over Ethernet. Note
that you will not be prompted to enter the password if the NPort 5000AI-M12 is not currently
password-protected.

If you use
other web browsers, remember to enable the functions to “
allow cookies that are stored on your
computer
” or “allow per-session cookies.”
NPort
5000AI-M12 uses cookies only for password transmission.
