Introduction
The main benefit of PoE is that it can transfer data and power to Ethernet-enabled devices using a standard Ethernet CAT5 cable. Moxa’s SPL-24
PoE splitters perform the role of powered devices (PDs) and split power from the injector to Ethernet devices. When using Moxa’s devices, power
and data can be transmitted up to 100 meters (328 feet) from the power source equipment (PSE).
The standard model in can operate in temperatures from 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F) and the wide-temperature model can operate in temperatures from
-40 to 75°C (-40 to 167°F). In addition, the rugged hardware means that these devices will perform reliably even when used in demanding industrial
applications.
