Local Time
Default
Options Date (yy:mm:dd), Time (hh:mm:ss)
Description The NPort has a built-in real-
time clock that allows you to add time information to functions
such as the automatic warning e-mail or SNMP trap. This field shows the current time
according to the NPort’s built-in real-time clock. This is not a live field, so you will need to
refresh the browser to get an updated reading.
Change the correct date or time, and click [Submit]. The change will take effect directly, and
shows Basic Setting OK!.
ATTENTION
There is a risk of explosion if the real
-time clock battery is replaced incorrectly!
The real time clock is powered by a lithium battery. We strongly recommend that you obtain assistance from
a Moxa support engineer before replacing the battery. Please contact the Moxa RMA service team if you need
to change the battery.

Default
Options IP address or domain name (e.g., “192.168.1.1” or “time.nist.gov”)
Description This optional field specifies your time server’s IP address or
domain name, if a time server is
used in your network. The NPort supports SNTP (RFC-1769) for automatic time calibration.
The device server will request time information from the specified time server every 10
minutes.
