On-board Charging:
Insert the 18605 battery into the handgrip, connect the USB cable
to the gimbal. Then the indicator light will turn red. It takes 5 hours to
fully charge the battery. After the battery is sufficiently charged, the
indicator light will automatically turn off.
Charger:
You can also use the charger w/ the USB
cable in the box. Make sure the battery’s
positive terminal is facing the indicator side of
the charger. It takes about 5 hours to fully
charge the battery. When the charger light
indicates green the battery is fully charged.
1. Loosen the phone-locking knob by
turning the knob counter clockwise. Adjust
the width to fit your smartphone. Position
the bottom edge of the smartphone so that
it is flush against the tilt motor. Then turn
the phone-locking knob clockwise to secure
the smartphone in the holder.
2With the power off. If your smartphone
is falling or not holding the horizon the
position of the smartphone holder will
need to be adjusted
3. If your smartphone is not holding the
horizon, the center of gravity will need to
be adjusted to achieve proper balance.
This is done be loosing the smartphone
holder (Large Ring) and by moving its
position further away from the tilt motor
or closer to the tilt motor.
For example to mount an iPhone 7 Plus, the smartphone holder
will need to be positioned as close as possible to the tilt motor.
Another example is an iPhone 6s, where the smartphone holder will
need to be positioned towards the middle.
4. To test if balance is correct. Lightly press
down on the tilt motor and release. If the
smartphone holds that position in space
without rising or falling your setup is
perfectly adjusted. Some users may still
have an issue finding the correct center of
gravity for their smartphone. In this case
adjust the smartphone to achieve the
slowest rate of rising or falling.
5. Loosen the battery cover and insert the
18650 battery into the handgrip positive
side up. Then secure the battery cover to
the bottom of the handle.
Notes: The stabilizer will not function if the battery is install
incorrectly or if the battery voltage is too low.
1. Loosen the smartphone holder
by turning the large ring
2. Rotate the phone holder
90 degrees.
3. Loosen the phone-locking knob to
widen the smartphone holder. Place
the smartphone in the holder in
portrait/vertical mode. Adjust the
position of the smartphone so that the
holder intersects with the middle of the
smartphone. Then tighten the phone-
locking knob to secure.
4. If the smartphone tends to fall to certain side, adjust the smart-
phone holder in the opposite direction of the fall.
