2. Hood Pin - Most vehicles come with a factory equipped hood pin switch. If yours does not come
with one you can wire in the aftermarket switch we supplied to the EVO ALL. You will need to
mount the pin switch into metal. Then route the wire to the EVO ALL and connect to the Dark Blue
wire on the 20 pin harness. You will need to open the loom up to access this wire.
3. Valet Switch – Your remote start kit includes a valet switch. While it is not essential to the
operation of the remote start, it is a safety device that prevents the starter from accidentally
engaging when not desired.
