Brewing Coffee 3) Add the desired amount of ground coffee to the filter. Gently shake the filter insert to level the ground coffee. 4) Be certain that the filter is centered in the filter insert. Close the brew basket. 5) Fill the water reservoir with the desired amount of tap water. Cleaning the Coffeemaker Before First Use Follow the steps below under “Adding Water and Ground Coffee” and “Brewing Coffee Now,” but do not add coffee grounds.

Cleaning the Coffeemaker Before First Use Follow the steps below under “Adding Water and Ground Coffee” and “Brewing Coffee Now,” but do not add coffee grounds.
6) Place the decanter on the warming plate. Brewing Coffee Later Make sure the decanter is fully placed on the warming plate or the water and grounds will overflow from the brew basket. An overflow may cause personal injury or damage to property. For Programmable Models: To reduce the risk of damaging the decanter and/or the risk of personal injury, do not add cold water to the decanter if the decanter is already hot. Allow the decanter to cool before using.
6) Place the decanter on the warming plate. Brewing Coffee Later Make sure the decanter is fully placed on the warming plate or the water and grounds will overflow from the brew basket. An overflow may cause personal injury or damage to property. For Programmable Models: To reduce the risk of damaging the decanter and/or the risk of personal injury, do not add cold water to the decanter if the decanter is already hot. Allow the decanter to cool before using.
Important: Resetting Delay Brew at the Pre-Set Time Due to a safety feature included in this unit, the programmable timer will not automatically brew the next day after its last use. If the Delay Indicator Light in the lower left hand corner of the clock display is not illuminated, then you will need to reset the DELAY BREW feature by pressing the DELAY BREW button. The programmable timer will not automatically brew the next day if left in the AUTO position after its last use. This is a safety feature.

Brewing 1 – 4 Cups Suggested Cleaning Interval (Models ESX30, ESX33 Only) If you want to brew 4 cups or less, the 1 – 4 Cup mode will slow the brewing cycle to ensure optimal saturation of the ground coffee beans. Note: Use only the proper amount of ground coffee and fill the water reservoir with 4 cups or less of water. 1. Press the SELECT button twice. Ajustando la Longitud del Cable Eléctrico Preparando Café Limpieza de la Cafetera Antes de Usar por Primera Vez Usted puede ajustar la longitud del cordón eléctrico de manera que tenga la longitud exacta que usted desea. Siga los pasos indicados en la sección “Añadiendo Agua y Café Molido” y en “Preparando Café Ahora”, pero no agregue los granos de café.

3) Agregue la cantidad deseada de café molido al filtro. Suavemente agite el filtro para nivelar el café molido. 6) Coloque la jarra sobre el plato calefactor. Asegúrese de que la jarra esté correctamente colocada en el centro del plato calefactor o el agua y el café se desbordarán de la canasta de preparación. Un desbordamiento puede causar lesión personal o daños. Para reducir el riesgo de dañar la jarra y/o el riesgo de lesión personal, no agregue agua fría a la jarra si ésta ya está caliente.
3) Agregue la cantidad deseada de café molido al filtro. Suavemente agite el filtro para nivelar el café molido. 6) Coloque la jarra sobre el plato calefactor. Asegúrese de que la jarra esté correctamente colocada en el centro del plato calefactor o el agua y el café se desbordarán de la canasta de preparación. Un desbordamiento puede causar lesión personal o daños. Para reducir el riesgo de dañar la jarra y/o el riesgo de lesión personal, no agregue agua fría a la jarra si ésta ya está caliente.
Preparando Café Más Tarde Para Modelos Programables: Usted debe programar el tiempo en el que le gustaría que la cafetera inicie a preparar su café. 1) Mientras que la cafetera está apagada, presione y detenga el botón para programar el retraso de la preparación de café SET DELAY. 2) Mientras sigue presionando el botón para programar el retraso de la preparación de café SET DELAY, presione y detenga el botón de hora HOUR hasta que la pantalla en el reloj muestre la hora que usted desea.
Preparando Café Más Tarde Para Modelos Programables: Usted debe programar el tiempo en el que le gustaría que la cafetera inicie a preparar su café. 1) Mientras que la cafetera está apagada, presione y detenga el botón para programar el retraso de la preparación de café SET DELAY. 2) Mientras sigue presionando el botón para programar el retraso de la preparación de café SET DELAY, presione y detenga el botón de hora HOUR hasta que la pantalla en el reloj muestre la hora que usted desea.
Preparando Café Si la pantalla del reloj se ilumina intermitentemente, antes de continuar consulte la sección “Ajustando el Reloj”. 1. Abra la canasta giratoria hacia la izquierda. Inserte un filtro MR. COFFEE® dentro de la canasta de preparación negra, interior y removible. 2. Añada la cantidad deseada de café, consulte el Cuadro de Medición de Café. Agite ligeramente para nivelar el café. 3. Asegúrese de que el filtro de papel esté centrado antes de cerrar la canasta de preparación. 4.
