The best way to clean a bamboo
sink is with a solution of mild soap
and water. With a soft sponge,
scrub the entire sink using a circu-
lar motion. Rinse and wipe-down
with a soft cloth. We recommend
Murphy Oil Soap
®
.
An alternative mixture of one ounce
of white vinegar to one quart of
water can also be used for daily
cleaning.
SANITIZATION
Ammonia-based cleaning products
can soften the nish of bamboo
sinks and so should be avoided.
Nail polish remover, bleach, am-
monia and similarly harsh chem-
icals should be totally avoided
because they will cause signicant
damage to bamboo.
AVOID
HARSH CHEMICALS
No two bamboo sinks look alike.
Each bamboo vessel is unique
in its coloring because it is con-
structed of stalks collected from
various bamboo farms, each
with its own tone, and randomly
combined with others to create a
one-of-a-kind pattern sink.
