CHARGING THE BATTERY
1. Plug the USB cable (4) into the headset.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable (4) into your computer.
3. The red indicator (1) on the headset will light up.
4. When the battery is fully charged, the red indicator (1) will turn off and the blue indicator (1) will turn on.
Important!
• For first time use it is very important to charge the battery of the Blue WAVE headset for 24 hours. This ensures the good
sound quality of your headset.
• For first time use it is also possible that the battery capacity is too low. It could take some time before the red indicator
lights up.

TURNING HEADSET ON / OFF
To turn the headset on:
Press and hold the MF-button (2) for 3 seconds. The blue indicator (1) of the headset flashes. The headset is now turned on.
To turn the headset off:
Press and hold the MF-button (2) for 3 seconds. The blue indicator (1) of the headset lights up 2 times. The headset is
now turned off.
PAIRING THE HEADSET
You are required to pair the Blue WAVE headset with your mobile phone once before using it.
1. The Blue WAVE headset must be turned off before initiating pairing. Press and hold the MF-button (2) until the blue
indicator (1) lights up constantly. The headset is now ready for pairing.
2. Initiate the pairing process on your Bluetooth
®
mobile phone to pair with the Blue WAVE headset. (Refer to the manual
of your mobile phone.)
3. Select Blue WAVE out of the list with found devices on your mobile phone. You will be asked to enter the PIN-code to
complete pairing, enter 0000 and confirm it. When the pairing has been successful, the blue indicator (1) of the headset
will flash every 5 seconds.
Note:
1. If the Blue WAVE headset is not in pairing mode, your mobile phone won’t find the headset. Please set the headset into pairing
mode before making your mobile phone search for the headset.
2. If no pairing is possible for a period of time (approx. two minutes), the headset will automatically leave pairing mode. You may
need to start all over again.
MAKING CALLS
Once the Blue WAVE headset is successfully paired with your mobile phone, you can use it to make and receive calls.
The Blue WAVE headset can be used with voice dialing if your mobile phone supports this feature. Please consult your
mobile phone’s manual for more information.
1. Using voice dialing:
Press the MF-button (2), wait for a beep and say the name of the person you want to call.
2. Using the phone keys to make a call:
Enter and dial the number on the mobile phone as you normally do. Once the call has been set up, the sound will be
transmitted to your headset automatically.
3. Redial:
Press and hold the MF-button (2) for 2 seconds to redial the last number you called.
ANSWERING / ENDING /REJECTING CALLS
When the Blue WAVE headset is turned on and there is an incoming call, you will hear a musical tone.
- Press the MF-button (2) to answer the call.
- Press the MF-button (2) to end the call.
- Press the MF-button (2) for 2 sec. to reject the call.
When the headset is turned off: first accept the call on your mobile phone, then press and hold the MF-button (2) for 3
seconds to turn the headset on. Then press the MF-button (2) to accept the connection with the headset.
Note:
Due to the different designs of some mobile phones, an auto-disconnect may happen even when the Blue WAVE headset is turned
on. In that case, the headset won’t ring when there is an incoming call. Press the MF-button (2) for 1 sec. to reconnect the headset
with your mobile phone for an incoming call.
TRANSFERRING CALLS
To transfer a call to the mobile phone and back:
Press and hold the MF-button (2) for 2 seconds to transfer the call to the mobile phone while talking on the headset. The
headset will be disconnected. If you want to transfer the call back to the headset, press the MF-button (2) again until you
hear a beep. Some mobile phones ask for an extra confirmation to make the connection.
ADJUST THE VOLUME
You can increase/decrease the volume by increasing/decreasing the volume of your mobile phone. The volume of your Blue
WAVE headset will be adjusted automatically. Please consult your mobile phone’s manual for more information.
CONNECTING WITH A PC OR PDA
You are allowed to connect the Blue WAVE headset with a Bluetooth
®
enabled PC or PDA that is supported with headset
and/or handsfree profiles. Please refer to the user manual of your Bluetooth
®
enabled PC or PDA for setup information.

RECHARGER LA BATTERIE
1. Branchez la petite extrémité du câble USB (4) sur l’oreillette.
2. L’autre extrémité du câble USB (4) se branche sur l’ordinateur.
3. L’indicateur lumineux rouge (1) de l’oreillette s’allumera.
4. Lorsque la batterie est totalement chargée, l’indicateur lumineux rouge (1) de l’oreillette s’éteint et l’indicateur
lumineux bleu (1) s’allume.
Important !
• La première fois, il est très important de charger la batterie de l’oreillette Blue WAVE pendant 24 heures. Ceci garantit
la bonne qualité de son de l’oreillette.
• La première fois, la batterie peut être tellement vide que l’indicateur lumineux rouge ne s’allume qu’après quelques secondes.
FONCTIONNALITÉS DU BOUTON « MULTIFONCTIONS » (MF)
Allumer / Eteindre, Association (pairing), Appels: répondre / raccrocher / refuser / transférer, Répétition du dernier
numéro, Numérotation vocale
ALLUMER OU ETEINDRE L’OREILLETTE
Allumer l’oreillette
Appuyez sur le bouton MF (2) pendant 3 secondes. L’indicateur lumineux bleu (1) de l’oreillette commence à clignoter.
L’oreillette est à présent allumée.
Eteindre l’oreillette
Appuyez sur le bouton MF (2) pendant 3 secondes. Vous entendrez une tonalité courte et l’indicateur lumineux bleu (1) de
l’oreillette s’allume 2 fois. L’oreillette est à présent éteinte.
ASSOCIATION DE L’OREILLETTE
Vous devez associer l’oreillette Blue WAVE avec votre téléphone mobile avant de l’utiliser.
1. L’oreillette Blue WAVE doit être éteinte avant le début du processus d’association. Appuyez sur le bouton MF (2) jusqu’à
ce que l’indicateur lumineux bleu (1) soit allumé en continu. L’oreillette est alors prête à être associée.
2. Lancez la procédure d’association entre votre téléphone mobile et l’oreillette Blue WAVE. (Consultez le mode d’emploi
de votre téléphone mobile).
3. Sélectionnez ≪ Blue WAVE ≪ dans la liste des appareils détectes par votre téléphone mobile. Au moment où votre téléphone
mobile vous demande d’entrer un code PIN, entrez le code 0000 et confirmez. Une fois le processus d’association termine
avec succès, l’indicateur lumineux bleu (1) de l’oreillette commence à clignoter toutes les 5 secondes.
Remarque :
1. Si l’oreillette Blue WAVE n’est pas en mode association, votre téléphone mobile ne trouvera pas l’oreillette. Mettez l’oreillette
en mode association avant de commencer à rechercher l’oreillette avec votre téléphone mobile.
2. Si après une période d’environ 2 minutes, aucune association n’est possible, l’oreillette quittera automatiquement le mode
association. Il est préférable de reprendre le processus d’association à zéro.
APPELER
Une fois que l’oreillette Blue WAVE est correctement associée avec votre téléphone mobile, vous pouvez utiliser l’oreillette
pour appeler et recevoir des appels. L’oreillette Blue WAVE peut être utilisée avec la numérotation vocale et la répétition
du dernier numéro si votre téléphone mobile supporte cette fonctionnalité. Consultez le mode d’emploi de votre téléphone
mobile à cet effet.
1. Utiliser la numérotation vocale:
Appuyez sur le bouton MF (2), attendez un bip et dites le nom de la personne que vous voulez appeler.
2. Utiliser les touches du téléphone pour appeler:
Entrez et appelez un numéro de téléphone sur le téléphone mobile comme vous le faites normalement. Une fois que la
communication a été établie, le son sera transmis automatiquement à votre oreillette.
3. Rappeler le dernier numéro que vous avez formé (redial)
Appuyez sur le bouton MF (2) pendant 2 secondes pour recomposer le dernier numéro que vous avez appelé.
REPONDRE A DES APPELS / TERMINER UN APPEL / REFUSER UN APPEL
Quand l’oreillette Blue WAVE est allumée, et qu’il y a un appel entrant, vous entendrez une sonnerie musicale.
- Appuyez sur le bouton MF (2) pour prendre l’appel.
- Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton MF (2) pour terminer la conversation.
- Apuyez sur le bouton MF (2) pendant 2 secondes pour refuser l’appel.
Lorsque l’oreillette est éteinte : acceptez d’abord l’appel par votre téléphone mobile. Puis appuyez sur le bouton MF (2)
pendant 3 secondes pour l’allumer. Appuyez a nouveau sur le bouton MF (2) pour continuer la conversation par l’oreillette.
Remarque :
Du fait de la conception différente de certains téléphones mobiles, une déconnexion automatique peut se produire même quand
l’oreillette Blue WAVE est allumée. Dans ce cas, l’oreillette ne sonnera pas quand vous recevrez un appel. Appuyez sur le bouton
MF (2) pendant 1 sec. pour reconnecter l’oreillette au téléphone mobile pour la réception d’un appel.
TRANSFERER UN APPEL
Pour transferer un appel:
Maintenez le bouton MF (2) enfoncé pendant 2 secondes pour transférer l’appel vers le téléphone mobile pendant que vous
utilisez l’oreillette. L’oreillette sera déconnectée. Si vous voulez à nouveau prendre l’appel sur l’oreillette, appuyez sur le
bouton MF (2) jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un bip. Plusieurs téléphones mobiles nécessitent une action additionnelle afin
de compléter la connexion.
REGLAGE DU VOLUME
Vous pouvez augmenter/baisser le volume du Blue WAVE en réglant le volume de votre téléphone mobile. Le volume du
Blue WAVE sera adapté automatiquement. Consultez le mode d’emploi de votre téléphone mobile à cet effet.
CONNECTER L’OREILLETTE AVEC UN PC OU PDA
Vous pouvez connecter l’oreillette Blue WAVE avec un PC ou PDA compatible Bluetooth
®
supportant les profils oreillette
et/ou mains libres. Reportez-vous au manuel d’utilisation de votre PC ou PDA compatible Bluetooth
®
pour les informations
d’installation.

BATTERIJ OPLADEN
1. Verbind de USB kabel (4) met de headset.
2. Sluit het andere uiteinde van de USB kabel (4) aan op uw computer.
3. Het rode indicatielampje (1) op de headset zal beginnen branden.
4. Wanneer de batterij volledig opgeladen is, gaat het rode indicatielampje (1) op de headset uit en begint
het blauwe indicatielampje (1) te branden.
Belangrijk!
• Bij de eerste ingebruikname is het zeer belangrijk de batterij van de BLUE WAVE headset gedurende 24 uren op te
laden. Dit garandeert de goede geluidskwaliteit van uw headset.
• Bij de eerste ingebruikname kan het ook zijn dat de batterij te leeg is. Het kan dan enige tijd duren alvorens het rode
indicatielampje aan gaat.
FUNCTIES MULTIFUNCTIONELE KNOP
Aan-/uitschakelen, pairing (koppeling), oproepen beantwoorden / beeindigen / weigeren / doorschakelen, voice dialing
(spraakherkenning), nummerherhaling (redial)
AAN- EN UITSCHAKELEN VAN DE HEADSET
De headset aanschakelen:
Druk gedurende 3 seconden de MF-knop (2) in. Het blauwe indicatielampje (1) op de headset begint te knipperen. De
headset is nu aangeschakeld.
De headset uitschakelen:
Druk gedurende 3 seconden de MF-knop (2) in. Het blauwe indicatielampje (1) op de headset licht 2 maal kort op. De
headset is nu uitgeschakeld.
PAIRING (KOPPELING) VAN DE HEADSET
Voor gebruik dient u de headset met uw mobiele telefoon te pairen (koppelen).
1. De Blue WAVE headset dient uitgeschakeld te worden alvorens het koppelingsproces te starten. Houd de MF-knop (2)
ingedrukt totdat het blauwe indicatielampje (1) constant brandt. De headset is nu klaar voor pairing (koppeling).
2. Start de koppelingsprocedure tussen uw mobiele telefoon en de Blue WAVE headset. (Raadpleeg de handleiding van uw
mobiele telefoon).
3. Selecteer de Blue WAVE uit de lijst met gekoppelde toestellen in uw mobiele telefoon. Wanneer uw mobiele telefoon u
de Pincode vraagt, toets dan 0000 in en bevestig. Wanneer het koppelingsproces succesvol is afgerond, zal het blauwe
indicatielampje (1) op de headset elke 5 seconden knipperen.
Opmerking:
1. Wanneer de Blue WAVE headset niet in pairingmode is, zal de mobiele telefoon de headset niet herkennen. Zet de headset
eerst in de pairingsmode alvorens uw mobiele telefoon op zoek te laten gaan naar uw headset.
2. Indien na een periode (van ongeveer 2 minuten) geen pairing (koppeling) mogelijk is, zal de headset automatisch de
pairingsmode verlaten. U begint dan best helemaal opnieuw.
TELEFONEREN
Wanneer uw mobiele telefoon succesvol gepaird werd, kunt u met de Blue WAVE headset oproepen maken en ontvangen.
De Blue WAVE is geschikt voor spraakherkenning (voice dialing) en nummerherhaling (redial) indien uw mobiele telefoon
deze functie ondersteunt. Raadpleeg hiervoor de handleiding van uw mobiele telefoon.
1. Met spraakherkenning (voice dialing)
Druk de MF-knop (2) in en wacht totdat u een biep hoort. Zeg dan de naam van de persoon die u wenst te bellen.
2. Met de toetsen van uw mobiele telefoon:
Vorm het telefoonnummer zoals u dit normaal doet met uw mobiele telefoon. Wanneer de verbinding is gemaakt, wordt
het geluid automatisch naar uw headset verstuurd.
3. Met nummerherhaling (redial):
Druk gedurende 2 seconden de MF-knop (2) in om het laatste nummer dat u hebt gevormd, terug te bellen.
OPROEPEN BEANTWOORDEN / BEËINDIGEN
Wanneer de Blue WAVE headset is aangeschakeld en er komt een oproep binnen, hoort u een muzikale toon.
- Druk op de MF-knop (2) om de oproep te beantwoorden.
- Druk nogmaals op de MF-knop (2) om de oproep te beëindigen.
Wanneer de headset uitgeschakeld is: beantwoord de oproep eerst via uw mobiele telefoon en druk daarna gedurende 3
seconden op de MF-knop (2). Druk daarna nogmaals op de MF-knop (2) om het gesprek verder te zetten via de headset.
Opmerking:
Doordat er heel wat verschillen bestaan in mobiele telefoons betreft ontwerp, model, … kan de verbinding ook automatisch
verbroken worden, zelfs wanneer de Blue WAVE headset aangeschakeld is. In dit geval zal de headset niet rinkelen wanneer
er een oproep binnenkomt. Druk gedurende 1 seconde op de MF-knop (2) om de headset opnieuw te verbinden met uw mobiele
telefoon.
OPROEPEN DOORSCHAKELEN
Om een oproep door te schakelen naar de mobiele telefoon en terug:
Houd de MF-knop (2) gedurende 2 sec. ingedrukt om de oproep door te schakelen naar de mobiele telefoon terwijl u
spreekt via de headset. De verbinding met de headset wordt nu verbroken. Als u de oproep terug naar de headset wilt
schakelen, druk dan op de MF-knop (2) totdat u een biep hoort. Let op, sommige mobiele telefoons vragen dan nog een
extra bevestiging om de verbinding te maken.
HET VOLUME AANPASSEN
U kunt het volume verhogen/verlagen door het volume van uw mobiele telefoon te verhogen/ verlagen. Het volume van uw
Blue WAVE headset zal dan automatisch aangepast worden. Raadpleeg hiervoor de handleiding van uw mobiele telefoon.
VERBINDEN MET EEN PC OF EEN ZAKCOMPUTER (PDA)
U kunt de Blue WAVE headset verbinden met een Bluetooth
®
uitgeruste PC of zakcomputer (PDA) die headset en/of
handsfree profi elen ondersteunt. Raadpleeg de handleiding van uw Bluetooth
®
PC of zakcomputer (PDA) voor meer
informatie.
