A. • • • Connecting the device INDOOR IP CAMERA Take the mr Safe outdoor IP camera out of the box. Attach the wifi antenna (8).
Example of an installation: • Take the mr Safe outdoor IP camera out of the box. Attach the WiFi antenna (9) and the bracket (10). • We use a cable box which is available for a few euros at the hardware store. • The grommets or glands are placed around the cables. You may need to cut the grommet around the camera cable. If so, it needs to be sealed again later. There are 2 connections open at the bottom of the cable box.
• A hole of about 10 mm will be drilled through the wall. The round plug of the power cable will be taken from the inside to the outside. The cable box is placed close to the power cable. The round plug will be attached to the camera cable inside the cable box. • The hole in the wall, the grommets or cable glands and possible cuts in the cable box should be sealed so that everything is water resistant. • If you want, you can fix the cable as well.
3. TERMINOLOGY LAN: Local Area Network: Your home network, which includes your internet modem and all the equipment in the house that is connected to the network via cable or Wifi. WAN: Wide Area Network: The internet, if you have an Internet connection at home or anywhere else. Resolution: The quality and sharpness of the images. The resolution is expressed in pixels horizontal x vertical. The higher the resolution the better the image quality of the IP camera.
In the App, go to “LAN” (bottom). You will now see the camera. Click on the select "Wifi". symbol next to the camera and Click on “SSID” to display the available networks. Select your network and enter your password. After confirmation, the IP camera will restart (this will take about 2 minutes), After you have set the wifi (as described below), you should first check if the camera is functioning properly when it is placed close to the modem.
5. LAN CAMERA All the cameras that are online in your local network (LAN) will be displayed in the LAN list. 5.1. LAN Camera browsing Go to the LAN list and click on the camera you want to see. The program is now going to make contact with your IP camera. This can take a few seconds. When the image appears, the camera is ready to operate. If the image is not completely clear /sharp, you can turn the lens focusing ring till the image appears sharp.
If you want to control the camera you can press the buttons of the control panel. (For more information go to chapter “7.1 Control Panel”). 5.2. LAN Camera settings You can change the settings of each camera by clicking on the symbol next to the camera. 5.2.1. Instellingsopties 5.2.1.1. Wifi Only use these settings for setup of the Wifi connection! See chapter “4. WIFI SETTINGS”.
5.2.1.2. Video Settings In the menu Video Settings you can adjust the following settings: Substream/Mainstream: mr Safe IP cameras only use main stream. Do not change this setting! Resolution: you can change the resolution of the images according to your own needs. For more information about resolution see “3. Terminology”. Framerate: you can change the amount of frames according to your own needs. For more information about frame rate see “3. Terminology”.
• • • • 5.2.1.4. Auto start recording: the camera will record constantly, also when there is no movement in front of the camera. Record audio: the camera will automatically record all audio. Split size (MB): you can choose the size of every recorded file. Format SD card: all files on the micro SD card will be deleted. SD card query (only for models with SD card reader) You can view all the images that are recorded on your SD card.
5.2.1.5. • • • • • • 5.2.1.6. Alarm settings Motion detection: the camera will give an alarm based on motion. Alarm sensitivity: You can select the level of sensitivity that triggers the alarm. Choose high for an alarm that goes off with the slightest movement. Choose low for an alarm that goes off when there is a very clear change in the image. Audio Alarm Detection: The camera will give an alarm based on sounds. Audio Alarm Sensitivity: you can choose the level of sensitivity that triggers the alarm.
The IP camera can detect motion. This function does not work by using an infrared receiver, but by digitally “looking” at the image through the camera. When there are too much changes in the image, the motion alarm will be activated. The sensitivity is adjustable. For outdoor cameras, please note that leaves moving in the wind and rain are also detected as “motion”.
5.2.2. System settings • • Reboot the camera: You can restart the camera from a distance. This may take several minutes. Restore to factory settings: all passwords and other stored information will be erased and restored to factory settings.
6. WAN CAMERA 6.1. WAN Login Choose “Create account”. Enter a user name, password and e-mail address. Press “Done” to confirm your registration. You will be sent to the login page.
For use over the Internet (WAN), you will be asked to log in. There are 2 possibilities to login. 1. You can login per camera. Find the login details at the bottom of the IP Camera. You need to enter the user name (CAM ID) and Password (Login Password) or scan the QR-code by pressing the QR symbol. Now you can only see the camera where you have logged into. 2. To see a list of all your camera’s, you can log in with the username and password you’ve created yourself in step 6.1.
When the image appears, the camera is ready to operate. If you want to control the camera you can press the buttons of the control panel. (For more information go to chapter “7.1 Control Panel”). 6.3. WAN camera settings You can change the settings of each camera by clicking on the symbol next to the camera.

Enter a new password for logging into your IP camera. Press “Ok” to confirm the settings. From now on the camera will have a new password instead of its old one. You can choose a new password for "view only" or "view and operate. If you choose “view only”, you can only view the images from the camera but you cannot operate it. If you choose to “view and operate”, you can view the images and change the camera settings.

FILES Here you can review the recorded footage by pressing on the title of the file or delete them by pressing a few seconds on the title of the file until a pop-up window appears to confirm the removal. If you want to send a file to someone else press and choose the way you want to send your file. 9. ALARMS Here you take a look at all alarm notifications.

Aansluiten van het apparaat A. INDOOR IP CAMERA • • • Neem de mrSafe indoor IP camera uit de doos. Bevestig de wifi-antenne (8).
Hieronder een voorbeeld installatie: Neem de mrSafe outdoor IP camera uit de doos. Bevestig de wifi-antenne (9) en de beugel (10). We gebruiken een kabeldoos die voor een paar euro bij de bouwmarkt verkrijgbaar is. De tules of wartels worden rond de kabels geplaatst. Mogelijk dient u de tule rond de camerakabel in te snijden, deze moet dan later wel afgedicht worden. In de kabeldoos worden 2 aansluitingen aan de onderzijde geopend.
Er wordt een gat van ca. 10 mm door de muur geboord. Van binnenuit wordt de ronde stekker van de voedingskabel naar buiten gevoerd. De kabeldoos wordt dicht bij deze voedingskabel geplaatst. De ronde stekker wordt in de kabeldoos aangesloten op de kabel van de camera. Het gat in de muur, de tules of wartels en een eventuele insnijding in de kabeldoos dienen met kit waterdicht afgewerkt te worden. Eventueel zet u de kabel nog vast. De adapter wordt nu in het stopcontact gestoken en de installatie werkt.
3. TERMINOLOGIE LAN: Local Area Network: Uw thuis-netwerk, dat uw internet modem en alle apparatuur omvat in het huis dat is aangesloten op het netwerk via kabel of Wifi. WAN: Wide Area Network: Het internet, een internetverbinding thuis of ergens anders. Resolutie: De kwaliteit en scherpte van de beelden. De resolutie wordt uitgedrukt in pixels horizontaal x verticaal. Hoe hoger de resolutie hoe beter de beeldkwaliteit van de IP-camera.
In de App, ga naar “LAN” (onderaan). U zal nu de camera zien staan. Klik op het selecteer “Wifi instellingen”. symbool naast de camera en Klik op “Wifinaam” om de beschikbare netwerken weer te geven. Selecteer uw netwerk en voer uw wachtwoord in. Na bevestiging zal de IP-camera herstarten (dit zal ongeveer 2 minuten duren). Nadat u de wifi heeft ingesteld, dient u allereerst te controleren of de camera goed functioneert als deze dicht bij het modem geplaatst wordt.
5. LAN CAMERA Alle camera's die online zijn in uw lokale netwerk (LAN) worden weergegeven in de LAN-lijst. 5.1. LAN Camera browsing Ga naar de LAN-lijst en klik op de camera die u wilt zien. Het programma gaat nu contact met uw IP-camera maken. Dit kan enkele seconden duren. Wanneer het beeld verschijnt, is de camera klaar voor gebruik. Als het beeld niet helemaal scherp is, kunt u aan de lens draaien om het beeld scherp te stellen.
5.2. LAN Camera instellingen U kunt de instellingen van elke camera wijzigen door te klikken op het symbool naast de camera. 5.2.1. Instellingsopties 5.2.1.1. Wifi Gebruik deze instellingen alleen voor het gebruik van de Wifi-verbinding! Zie hoofdstuk “4. WIFI INSTELLINGEN”.
5.2.1.2. Video Instellingen In het menu Video Instellingen kunt u de volgende instellingen wijzigen: • • • • Hoofdverbinding: mrSafe IP camera’s gebruiken enkel main stream. Deze instelling niet veranderen! Resolutie: u kunt de resolutie van de beelden aanpassen aan uw eigen wensen. Voor meer informatie over Resolutie zie “3. Terminologie”. Beeldsnelheid: u kunt de hoeveelheid frames aanpassen aan uw eigen wensen. Voor meer informatie over Framerate zie “3. Terminologie”.
• • • • 5.2.1.4. Opnemen automatisch starten: de camera zal voortdurend opnemen, ook als er geen beweging wordt waargenomen. Geluid opnemen: de camera zal automatisch alle audio opnemen. Gedeelde ruimte: u kunt de grootte van ieder opgenomen bestand kiezen. Formateer SD kaart: alle bestanden op de micro SD kaart worden verwijderd. SD kaart openen (enkel voor modellen met SD kaartlezer) U kunt alle beelden opgenomen op de Micro SD-kaart bekijken.
5.2.1.5. • • • • • • • 5.2.1.6. Alarminstellingen Bewegingsdetectie: de camera zal een alarm geven op basis van bewegingen. Alarm gevoeligheid: u kunt het niveau van gevoeligheid kiezen waarop het alarm moet afgaan. Kies hoog voor een alarm dat afgaat met de kleinste bewegingen. Kies laag voor een alarm dat alleen afgaat als er een duidelijke verandering in beeld wordt waargenomen. Audio alarm detectie: de camera zal een alarm geven op basis van geluiden.
De IP camera kan beweging detecteren. Dit werkt niet met een infrarood ontvanger, maar door het digitaal “bekijken” van het beeld door de camera. Als er teveel veranderd in het beeld zal het bewegingsalarm geactiveerd worden. De gevoeligheid is instelbaar. Hou er voor buitencamera’s rekening mee dat het bewegen van bladeren door de wind en neerslag ook als beweging gedetecteerd kan worden. Ingeval van alarm kan de camera een waarschuwing naar de PC sturen als de software aanstaat en/of een email sturen.
5.2.2. Systeeminstellingen • • De camera opnieuw starten: u kan de camera herstarten vanop een afstand. Dit kan enkele minuten duren. Terugzetten naar fabrieksinstellingen: alle wachtwoorden en andere opgeslagen informatie zullen worden gewist en worden teruggezet naar de fabrieksinstellingen.
6. WAN CAMERA 6.1. WAN Login Kies “Account maken”. Vul een gebruikersnaam, wachtwoord en een e-mailadres in. Druk op “Gereed” om uw registratie te bevestigen. U wordt doorgestuurd naar de login pagina.
Voor gebruik via het internet (WAN), wordt u gevraagd om in te loggen. Er zijn 2 mogelijkheden om in te loggen: 1. U kunt inloggen per camera. U vind de inloggegevens aan de onderkant van de IP-camera. U moet de gebruikersnaam (CAM -ID) en paswoord invoeren of de QR-code scannen door op het QR icoon te klikken. Als u uw wachtwoord wil opslaan moet u op het sleuteltje naast het wachtwoord klikken. Nu kunt u alleen de camera waar u zich voor hebt aangemeld bekijken. 2.
6.2. WAN Camera browsing Wanneer u bent ingelogd, klikt u op de camera die u wilt zien. Het programma gaat nu contact met uw IP-camera maken. Dit kan enkele seconden duren. Wanneer het beeld verschijnt, is de camera klaar voor gebruik. Als u de camera wilt bedienen, kunt u op de knoppen van het bedieningspaneel drukken. (Voor meer informatie ga naar hoofdstuk “7.1. Bedieningspaneel”). 6.3.

Een andere manier om het wachtwoord te wijzigen is teruggaan naar de "WAN" lijst. Druk op "Options" in de rechterbovenhoek. Druk op "Change Password" en vul het nieuwe wachtwoord in. Als u het wachtwoord dat u hebt gekozen wilt verwijderen en u wilt het originele wachtwoord gebruiken, druk op de reset-knop aan de onderkant van de IP-camera. De camera zal alle voorgaande wachtwoorden verwijderen. 7. MENU INSTRUCTIES 7.1.

BESTANDEN Hier kunt u de opgenomen beelden bekijken door op de titel van de opname te drukken of ze verwijderen door enkele seconden op de titel te drukken tot er een pop-up scherm verschijnt dat u vraagt te bevestigen dat het bestand verwijderd mag worden.
9. ALARM Hier kunt u de alarmmeldingen bekijken. 10. MEER Hier vindt u meer informatie over de mrSafe App en de capaciteit van uw apparaat. U kunt uw bestanden ook delen met vrienden door aan te geven welke media u verkiest om deze te verzenden.
