6.11.13. Dual Home: Disabling auto-negotiation on CO
user port causes switchover
(BZ#: 5547)
Description: In a dual-homing setup, disabling auto-negotiation on the active CO's user port causes
a switchover to the inactive CO, if its user port can establish link.
Suggested Work-Around: To prevent a change in active COs while reconfiguring the user port,
make the inactive CO unavailable for service by disabling its trunk port: shutdown. Once the active CO
user port reconfiguraion is complete, be sure to re-enable the inactive CO trunk port to restore normal
dual-homing redundancy protection: no shutdown.
Customer Impact: Moderate. Informational only.
Corrective Action: This issue will be addressed in a future software upgrade.
6.11.14. firmware download issues
(BZ#: 6140)
Description: CO takes care of upgrading the CPE too, if connected. So even though firmware
download ... is available at the CPE slot-context, it does not do anything. This is why show
firmware sessions does not show any useful information for CPE entry.
Suggested Work-Around: None.
Customer Impact: Minimal. Informational only.
Corrective Action: This issue will be addressed in a future software upgrade.
6.11.15. Cable test result display issue
(BZ#: 6035)
Description: You may not be able to see the result of the cable test completely. Display may seem
to cut off the information under label 'Test Result:'
Suggested Work-Around: Increase the terminal width large enough to display the entire
information. For instance, you may have to issue terminal width 120 from the config-context.
Customer Impact: Minimal. Informational only.
Corrective Action: This issue will be addressed in a future software upgrade.
