6.20.2. Behavior details when BPV injected
(BZ#: 8343)
Description: When BPV (bi-polar violation) or CV (code violation) is injected into the module you
will not see link status change and so no traps.
Suggested Work-Around: None.
Customer Impact: Minor inconvenience.
Corrective Action: This issue will be addressed in future software upgrades.
6.20.3. CO+CPE wrong connection issue
(BZ#: 7821,7871)
Description: If the Tx of CO or the Rx or the CPE is cut, status and the configuration of the CPE
boards are not reliable.
Suggested Work-Around: None.
Customer Impact: Minimal. Informational only.
Corrective Action: This issue will be addressed in future software upgrades.
6.20.4. Port 3 with SFP-FE-C always auto-negotiates
(BZ#: 8243)
Description: Port 3 with SFP-FE-C always auto-negotiates. Thus, a tester connected to this
port should also auto-negotiate. The only variable the tester can adjust is the auto-negotiation
advertisement bits. This is important.
CLI "show" at port-3-context cannot give an indication if the port is working at 10M or 100M. It always
shows 100M. This can be misleading. This is a limitation of the cost effective SFP-FE-C being used for
this product.
Suggested Work-Around: Connected tester should be able to show the negotiated speed.
Customer Impact: Minimal. Informational only.
Corrective Action: No change to design. This feature works as designed.
6.20.5. Unmanaged mode issue
(BZ#: 8293)
Description: In unmanaged mode "show statistics" command is available. But "clear-counters"
command is not available.
Suggested Work-Around: None.
Customer Impact: Minor inconvenience.
Corrective Action: This issue will be addressed in future software upgrades.
