6.22.4. Internal loopback and port link issue
(BZ#: 7980)
Description: Enabling internal loopback on an access port with no SFP inserted will result in a "link
up" msg for that port.
Suggested Work-Around: None.
Customer Impact: Minimal: informational only.
Corrective Action: This issue will be addressed in future software upgrades.
6.22.5. Packet Multiplexer mode: 64 byte frames counted
in 'Tx Size Max127 Pkts'
(BZ#: 7547)
Description: In Packet Multiplexer mode, transmitted 64-byte frames are counted in 'Tx Size Max127
Pkts' rather than 'Tx Size64 Pkts'. This is due to the use of temporary VLAN tags to keep the access port
traffic streams separate while passing over the trunk.
Suggested Work-Around: None.
Customer Impact: Minor.
Corrective Action: None; information only.
6.22.6. Packet Multiplexer mode: Peer OAM stats
unavailable
(BZ#: 8499)
Description: OAM statistics are no longer exchanged between a pair of 10G8SW-XY modules
operating in PMUX mode, so they are not available for viewing on the remote trunk ports.
Suggested Work-Around: View peer OAM statistics from the NM controlling the peer module.
Customer Impact: Minimal.
Corrective Action: None; information only.
6.22.7. SFP-FDSGMII-M speed report confusing
(BZ#: 8445)
Description: The information for a port with a SFP-FDSGMII-M transceiver installed shows a rate
of 1000Base-T/X (1 Gbps) but a speed of 100 Mbps. Both statements are correct. On the connected fibers,
data is transmitted at a rate of 100 Mbps. On the internal SGMII interface, data is transferred at a rate
of 1 Gbps.
Suggested Work-Around: None.
Customer Impact: Minimal.
Corrective Action: None; information only.
