6. Install the battery pack on the instrument.
• If fresh batteries fail to properly initialize your instrument,
verify proper battery installation.
To Replace the Fuse
If the battery pack fuse has blown:
1. Remove and open the battery pack.
2. Locate and remove the blown fuse (FIGURE 2-53).
NOTE: Non-operational fuses do not provide a visual
indication. To ensure a fuse is operational, a
continuity check may be performed by using a
standard multimeter.
3. Locate the spare fuse on the other side of the battery
pack board.
4. Remove spare fuse from its holder and install it in the main
fuse holder.
5. Reassemble the battery pack, and reinstall it on the instrument.
