CS24118A - Advanced Modulation Digital Satellite Tuner The CX24118A is a highly in-
tegrated direct conversion tuner requiring a minimum of off-chip components. It incorpo-
rates a low-noise amplifier with integrated Voltage Controlled Attenuator (VCA), quadrature
down converter, variable bandwidth baseband filter/amplifier, fractional synthesizer, crystal
oscillator with buffered output, and an automatic tuning system. The chip is controlled
through a multi-byte read/ write enabled I2C-compatible interface.
CS24116 - Advanced Modulation DVB-S II demodulator and FEC decoder The CX24116
complies with the open DVB-S2 standard for advanced modulation (8PSK modulation with
LDPC/BCH Forward Error Correction), as well as DVB-S and DTV Legacy specifications.
When combined with a satellite tuner, such as the CX24118A, the CX24116 provides a
complete broadband satellite front-end solution for DVB-S2 satellite set-top boxes.
