company desktop.
By following these steps, you ensure the integrity of your data under most normal operating
circumstances. However, it is no guarantee that there are no database errors. You should still
perform regular backups.

Transaction entry and posting procedure
You should follow this procedure for entering and posting transactions:
1. Analyze transactions and determine how to record the transactions.
2. Enter the transactions into a transaction batch or batches.
3. Print the transaction batches and check for errors and omissions.
