Adjustments
Cutting Height Adjustment
Eachwheelhasa heightadjustmentleverto changethe
cuttingheightof the mower.Followthe stepsbelowto
adjustthe cuttingheight.
NOTE:Allwheelsmust bemovedto the sameposition.
For roughor unevenlawns,movethe heightadjustment
leverto a higherposition,
1. Depressheightadjustmentlevertowardswheel.See
Figure3-6.
2. Slideleverto desiredpositionfor a changein cutting
height.
3. Releaselevertowardsdeck.
Mulching Baffle (if equipped)
Insteadof expellingthe clippingsfromthe sidedischarge
chute,the mowerhasthe optionof recirculatingthe
clippingsbackto the lawnby installingthe optional
mulchingbaffle.
1. Liftupandholdthe side dischargechute.Insert
bottomlipof themulchingbaffleinsidethechute
opening.See Figure3-7.
2. Snaphookson the mulchingbaffleoverthe hinge
pin.Thehooksmustsnapinto placeon the hinge
pin,lockingthe mulchingbafflefirmlyonto mower.

Forrough or uneven
lawns, move the height

stop scalping of grass.
