Since as a general rule no more than four NC-blocks can be prepared in
advance, one of the next three NC-blocks must be a motion NC-block
including at least a change of one axis coordinate in an axis which be-
longs to the selected working plane. If this is not the case, the contour
move is considered to be completed, and the next contour transition will
not be calculated. Lookahead NC-block processing will be interrupted with
calculations in the NC-program which led to the completion of a contour
move. Thus, a coherent contour move cannot be programmed in a NC-
variable manner.
Establishing Tool Path Compensation at the Contour Beginning
The starting point of the contour [P1] which will be corrected with tool path
compensation is located above the starting point [P0] of the programmed
contour perpendicular to the subsequent direction of motion.
