Wheels
The front wheels may be provided with optional grease
fittings. The rear wheels must be removed from the axle
Forlubrication. Lubricate at ]east once a season with
automotive multi-purpose grease.
PivotPoints
Lubricate all pivot points with light oil at least once a
season.
BallJoints
The ball joints and drag link ends are permanently
lubricated.

Viaintain engine oil as instructed in the separate

OilDrainSleeve(If Equipped)
_'our lawn tractor has a plastic oildrain sleeve packed
_ith the loose parts for your convenience in draining oil
:rom the crankcase. To drain the oil, snap small end of
_iIdrain sleeve onto oil sump. See Figure 20. Remove
:train plug and drain oil into a suitable container.

OilDrainValve(If Equipped)
Your lawn tractor may have a valve installed on the
engine for draining oil from the crankcase. See Figure
21. To drain the oil, insert the 12" hose (shipped loose
with your unit) over the end of the valve. Place the other
end in a suitable container. Push in black cap, rotate
counterclockwise and pull valve open. When oil is
completely drained, push Lop of valve in and rotate
clockwise to close.
