Arboles pequeños hasta de 15-18cm (6-7”) de diámetro son generalmente cortados en un solo corte. Arboles más grandes requieren de cortes de ranura. Cortes de ranura determinan la dirección en que el árbol caerá. Evite el efecto de reculado. Este efecto de Reculado pudiera causar graves lesiones o la muerte.
