High Speed Data Acquisition Settings
Each Series 494 DUC has a High Speed Data hwi setting that is used to enable high-speed data
acquisition.
Note:
High-speed data acquisition is required for some applications (for example, the MPT High
Speed Timed Acquisition process).
High-speed data limitations
The Model 494.40 I/O Carrier board allows up to six high-speed data inputs per carrier board. This
could be an issue if four Model 494.26 Dual DUCs are installed on a 494.40 I/O carrier.

Application Attribute: Not applicable
Type: defines how the card is used and what resources are available.
• DUC and 2SVD: when configured as a two-stage valve driver,
the DUC portion of this card is available as a system resource.
• 3SVD: when configured as a three-stage valve driver, the DUC
portion of this card is reserved for the valve LVDT.
