6.21.3 ECU – checking plug-in connections

Preconditions

• Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

Connector pliers

ECU – checking plug-in connections

1. Use connector pliers (3) to make certain that all

plug-in connections of ECU are securely seated.

2. Tighten loose bayonet union nuts (2) with

connector pliers (3) by turning them clockwise

until they lock into place.

3. Ensure that unassigned connector sockets are

protected with covering caps.
