6.8.1 Fuel filter replacement

Preconditions

 Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

WARNING

Fuels are combustible.

Risk of fire and explosion!

 Avoid naked flames, electrical sparks and ignition sources.

 Do not smoke.

Fuel filter replacement

1. Remove easy-change filter using the strap

wrench.

2. Clean the sealing surface of the filter head.

3. Fill the new easy-change filter with clean fuel.

4. Install and tighten new filter by hand.

5. Vent fuel system (

Page 6  21).

6. Replace further easy-change filters in the same

way.
