Charge-air coolant system – Filling
1. Pour treated coolant via the filling point on
the coolant line from and to the intercooler
and via the filler neck of the expansion tank
until coolant is visible at the marking plate.
2. Install plugs with new sealing rings at the
filling points.
3. Check proper condition of breather valve,
clean sealing faces if required.
4. Set breather valve onto filler neck and close
it.
Final steps
1. Start the engine and operate it at idle speed for some minutes.
2. Check coolant level (→ Page 113).
