7.22.2 Checking engine control unit plug connections
Preconditions
☑Engine shut down and starting disabled.

Checking engine control unit

1. Use connector pliers (3) to make certain
that all plug-in connections on engine con-
trol unit are securely seated.
2. Tighten loose bayonet couplings (2) with
connector pliers (3) by turning them clock-
wise until they latch into place.
3. Make sure that unassigned sockets are
closed off with cover caps.
4. Contact Service if bayonet union nut is de-
fective.
