Engine
1.Won't start

Fuel is present 
but the spark plug

The cylinder head gasket is blown or the head is not

No fuel in the fuel tank.
Faulty fuel cock operation.
The fuel filter is clogged.
The air hole in the cap on the fuel tank is clogged.

2.Faulty operation
