By depressing the push button on the side of the armrest, you can slide the tray bars in and out to set at desired depth.

You must press this buton in to insert into the Anti-Tipper tube. A. Installation, Contiued - With push button depressed, slide AntiTipper into Frame Tube. Located on the side of the Frame Tube, ther is a hole. The Push Button should be aligned with this hole while inserting. The push button will snap into place in this hole.
