GENERATOR SHUT-DOWN PROCEDURES
Place the engine speed switch (Figure 54) in the “2. ”
(down) position..

Let the engine cool by running it at low speed for 3-5 3.

Place the 1.  (Figure 55) in the
 position.
Place the 13.  circuit breakers in the
 position (Figure 51).

Observe the generator’s ammeter (Figure 52) and 14.
verify it reads the anticipated amount of current with
respect to the load. The ammeter will only display a
current reading if a load is in use.

The generator will run until manually stopped or an 15.
abnormal condition occurs.

To shutdown the generator, use the following procedure:
Place both the 1.  circuit breakers
as shown in Figure 53 to the  position..

 stop the engine suddenly except in an
emergency.
