Status Panel
Alarm
The alarm indicator flashes to indicate a new message has been added 
to the list. The flashing can be acknowledged by the operating one of 
the confirm buttons.
Confirm Selected
If one or more messages are selected in the message window, this 
button will confirm or acknowledge them. When acknowledged the 
messages will be greyed out and if there are no more unacknowledged 
messages the Alarm indicator will stop flashing.
Confirm All
As Confirm Selected, but automatically confirms all unacknowledged 
messages. This facility is disabled on some SIESPACE systems.
When a New Message Arrives:
This panel describes what happens when a new message is added to 
the list.
"Bring Status Panel to Front" will cause the status panel window to be 
brought above all other open windows on the PCs screen - helping the 
operator notice the new event.
"Sound Audible Alarm" will cause the status panel to beep 3 times 
whenever a new message arrives to alert the operator.
Always On Top
Causes the status panel to remain uppermost on the users deskttop 
irrespective of which window is currently being worked in.
User List
The user list indicates which users are currently logged onto the 
system
The name indicates the user name with which the user has logged on
The mode indicates if the user is VIEWing or EDITting data.
The machine field indicates the name of the machine to which the user 
is logged on.
Message List
This window contains a scrolling list of the messages generated by 
SIESPACE. There is a configurable limit to the number of messages 
that will be retained - typically 200. These messages include faults, and 
reminders for the operator.
