InternationalModemRestrictions
Somedialingandansweringdefaultsandrestrictionsmayvaryforinternationalmodems. Changingsettingsmay
causeamodemtobecomenon‐compliantwithnationaltelecomrequirementsinspecificcountries.Alsonote
thatsomesoftwarepackagesmayhavefeaturesorlackrestrictionsthatmaycausethemodemtobecomenon‐
compliant.
FCCPart15ClassBStatement
ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,pursuanttopart
15oftheFCCRules.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovidereasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceina
residentialinstallation.Thisequipmentgenerates,uses,andcanradiateradiofrequencyenergyand,ifno
t
installedandusedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,maycauseharmfulinterferencetoradio
communications.Howeve r,thereis noguaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurinaparticularinstallation.If
thisequipmentdoescauseharmfulinterferencetoradioortelevisionreception,whichcanbedeterminedby
turningthee
quipmentoffandon,theuserisencouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterferencebyoneormoreof
thefollowingmeasures:
